Buying weights in the TO area

Hey guys,

does anyone know of any places that sell standard plates for a good price? i would like to pick up about 24x10lb plates for two dumbbells i made a few years ago (they are adjustable and should hold at least 120 each).
so far the best price i've found is $.89/lb at fitness source..

You checked Kijiji or Craigslist? Allllways good deals to be had on weight there. I see ads all the time for free stuff, just gotta go get it out of their garage for them.

Ya i ended up checking them out a few days ago. They were trying to sell their used weights for $.99/lb! craziness

Thanks Warlock, their website only had Olympic plates, but i emailed them to see if they also carry standard plates..

i just got a quote back from foremostfitness.com - 10lb standard plate for $11.74, that's pretty damn pricey!
