You know, with all the gun play that goes on in Toronto, I used to think Toronto had a bad gun problem, but then it occurred to me, Toronto doesn't have a gun problem, Toronto has a ****** problem.

Now when I say the N-word, I'm not talking about black people, I'm using the N-word as defined by Chris Rock. There are great people of African heritage out there, lots of them. I'm talking about these 3rd world punk wankers that are as dumb as a bag of shit, killing people for no reason, and are basicly unable to grasp what it means to live in a civilized society. I mean, lets face reality.. Its not white kids doing this shit.

And then you get these morons that shout "ban handguns".. like the poor bastards that had their head blown off had it done with a non-banned handgun.

I tend to believe everyone should go armed at all times. I think this would weed out the assholes far better than disarming the citizenry and arming the criminals.

Yes, it is called parenting.
My brother lives in Sao Paulo that has a much bigger problem than here, his kids are not allowed to play any violent video game, every type of toy they have but guns, he doesn't waste time explaining to kids how the whole gangsta reality is dumb.

He works hard and he and the wife are the kids role models.

They are doing their job properly.

My mom did the same and no criminals among us even though we where born and raised in not great neighbourhoods.

I have seen tons of kids getting into trouble as their parents where fuull blown morons.

As the judicial system goes: I find crazy that inmates don't work.

Toronto is a very safe place to live, violence is not a great problem yet.

I have been here for almost 11 years and the biggest problem that I see here is how cold people are towards each other, depression and anxiety everywhere, medicated people in all corners and full blown mental cases wandering the streets.

The problems, which has been stated, is not the guns but certain people. I live in rural Ontario and there is a higher per capita of guns here than in Toronto. Most that I know of are not even registered. There is also far less gun crime per capita than in the cities.

So, the problem is not the amount of guns but the mentality of the owner. Most people here even is they are not gun owners are raised with a respect for firearms. I believe they are also raised with a greater respect for each other.

Maybe the punishment for gun crimes should be forcing the owner to use them for what they were intended for and air drop them somewhere in the bush and see how long they survive. I suspect all these gang bangers could not hit a deer at 50 yards.

Hand gun bans don't work. Uk banned guns a little while back and gun crimes have gone up. Canada should allow concealed carry permits to citizens. In the states that have this crime rates have dropped. Some crackhead crook is less likely to rob/rape someone if they can't be sure he/she is carrying. If you take all the legal handguns from the licensed citizens you haven't changed a damn thing cause its already illegal for the gang member to carry the gun they have. So what, its like double illegal for the gang member to have the gun then.:rolleyes:

i agree, to bann guns will only increase crime. Like in some US places they have guns under counter, and lol, if a criminal dont know. i doubt he'll chance , it's only punishing the innocent people, you need to up the penelty for haveing something where, people think twice, or as stated if everyones allowed to carry, i'd think might be more threats maybe not sure but angery drivers etc. i dunno, it's a hard topic..

Handguns were originally made for close range self defense against wild animals and of course criminals. Back in the day when there were fewer police and people had to defend themselves against animals and other people, a handgun was easier to carry in the field while working, then say the musket and later on rifles and shotguns. The morons in the anti gun groups were the idiots who spread the lie that handguns were for only killing people. In fact you can get a permit called Authorization to Carry (ATC) if you are a trapper,prospector or remote bush worker. Try hefting a shotgun or a rifle, and get it in action when you need it in the bush. Not only is it heavier to carry and harder to pack, but its slower to bring to bear when your life counts on it.

The old rule was that you only use your handgun to fight back to your rifle, which you should have never put down in the first place.

I only know of prospectors being allowed ATC if you work way out in the bush most carry a shotgun. Trappers don't get ATC's.

If you think about it, if most LAW-ABIDING citizens carried a gun you would see a huge drop in the crimes that are commited in public. Who is carrying? You don't know. You gonna cut someones head off in a bus, maybe, but you might only stab the guy a couple times before someone steps in.

Empower the public instead of making them cower at the back of the bus. Its time everyone was allowed to take their personal safety into their own hands.
