View Full Version : What Am I Doing Wrong With My Quads

I'm on my 4th cycle. My 1st 3 were all Test Enanthate with Deca, but this time i'm firing Test Prop with Tren Ace to switch it up. My issue is that i'm shooting every single day, and I can only seem to successfully pin my delts! When I shoot delt everything goes flawless everytime. I tried a shot of .5 CC to my Triceps and it just left the worst hot red patch and immobility of my tris for a week. I then shot quads, and couldn't walk without screaming for a week or two. I figured it was because of the first time doing it, so I braved the needle again and jumped back into the quads a second time, same effect. Tha fack am I doing wrong?? Anyone know an exact location to fire to avoid cramping and disability of the leg? I dont' mind some discomfort and pain, I almost enjoy it actually, but not being able to walk to the gym is ****ed up.

I saw the little chart thing online that shows 3 "X"'s on the quad to fire into, and I went by that guideline. Anyone got any other materials? I checked spotinjections.com too and it's not precise enough I guess. Help a brother out.

I know how you feel bro, i hate doing my quads its the same headache every week. always hitting a nerve. i always pin in the upper outer aswell, pretty much right in meet (if that makes any sence)

you tried glutes yet? I am not a big fan of quads myself but i do them anyways.

I like quads, but I always had problems with shooting in the middle outer portion of the quad, now I shoot maybe an inch or two higher and no problems.

i have been shooting quads for a few years and have only hit a nerve twice , my only problem is the damn scar tissue

Fack it I guess i'm just going to stick to enanthate based cycles unless anyone sees any major benefit to the contrary.

And I did try glutes, but i've got too much adipose fatty tissue around the area, makes it hard to pin intramuscularly. Damn genetics...

ditto. thanksfully with 32" quads I got a lot of area to cover but still gets annoying.

yeah, its a pain in the quads, but a necessity for me too, especially with prop and ace esters.

to help with pain:

try heating the gear by running it under hot water prior to pinning

do cardio after pinning

massage area after shot

inject slow. like 2 minutes. oil will not spread muscle fibres so much if given chance to dissipate.

inject smaller amounts

add a sterile oil to painful gear, or mix painful gear with painless

its possible your gear is crashing. you may require solvent, but this requires some wit. Benzyl Benzoate can be added to bring the solvent ratio up a few % BUT BB also causes pain, so you need to kind of be sure your gear is crashing. Crashing is where the solvents and oils get flushed away from the depot before the hormone can be absorbed. this leaves behind an irritating painful deposit of hormone crystals.

For pain heat it and dilute it with some oil from canmed supplies. I mix my prop with oil and it takes the crippleing pain out.

I would like to know what gear u are running?? I recently had a problem

with a recent batch of popular gear and had massive swelling and I couldn't

walk for 5 days. My delt shot swelled also and it went from my shoulder to

tri and bi then to my elbow and forearm. I finally went to the walk in and sure

enough the DR said infection. I know another guy who had the same problem

from the same gear. There are a few more guys in the process of doing it so

if they react the same it's obvoiulsy the gear. This is puzzling to me as this

brand gets excellent reviews .

What does it mean when it's painful? I mean, how does that even happen? The liquid is burning the muscle belly or what? I'm confused as to how some product will be painless and others will hurt like a muh'****a.

could be lots of things.
too much hormone.
too big of shot
painful esters (prop)
too much solvent
not enough solvent
contamination

or a combination of the above
