I never thought it would make me very happy to read that one of my favourite fighters has a staph infection... but this is GREAT NEWS. Minotauro clearly wasn't himself in the Mir fight... and a staph infection, while tough to deal with, is something that he can come back from. I was worried that it might be something along the lines of Prolonged Post-Concussion Syndrome or TBI or something that would mean his career was coming to an end.

I usually tune them out, they are the armchair experts. Sure Joe has trained with some of these guys, and he is working on a BJJ black belt, but he was hired for his voice and personality, not for his expertise.

The problem with Joe is he sometimes favortizes fighters when he should be more impartial. This Staph infection explains alot of my questions about the fight. Simply, how the **** can Mir TKO Nog when the likes of Fedor, Cro Cop, Sapp, and Barnette could not accomplish.

Maybe?? i think Mir is set now for Brock, , i dont think brock will roll with him if he's got any brain, but just stand and strike. If he rolls, better keep his weight on him and watch limbs. THEN i think NOG will come into play and sub brock. NOG has been with bigger and badder dudes and always came on top.. lol look at NOG and Bob sap fight..lol nog was tosed around like a rag doll for a bit till Bob tired out, and left arm there for nog to take, sweet fight!!

We need to see brock and fedor. That would be neat to see.

Brock will take down Mir this time around. Nog will have to fight someone big before getting another title shot maybe Kongo.

Nog and Cheik would be boring, as good as Cheik is, he isn't in Nogs class yet. In a few years he'll be champ material, but not right now.

Nog looked fine to me. Even if his staph infection was justifiable, MIr ran through him like a screen door. I think a re-match would just embarass Nog even more.
