So I'm 8 weeks into a 16 week cycle. My first one.

Test Cyp @ 500mg per week
Week 1-4 Dbol 30mg per day kickstart

I already add 2 1/2 inches to each quad. But my upper body doesn't seem to be keeping up. People are telling me I look "thicker" but I don't see it in the mirror. Should I back off legs for a while and just focus on upper body? Maybe double up on back, chest and arms?

My routine right now:

Thrus.legs
Fri..... traps/shoulders
Sat.... back/bi's
Sun....chest/tri's
Mon...abs

i would suggest you lay off the upper body for a bit... seems to me like you may be over-training?

you work legs once in your split, and then you rest them for a while... bro i had the exact same split you put up for a long time (just the order of the days was different) and man when i switched it up and started resting each bodypart for longer its stupid how much more gains i see (even off cycle)...

also, certain muscles respond better to different types of stimulus, type a/b muscle fibers, fast and slow twitch... im not sure but i think legs have more type A fibers, so they respond better to heaveir weight with fewer reps, whereas shoulders are more type B and you need high reps. personally i mix the two for every bodypart 3 sets low/heavy - 1 set high/light

first thing i would do is rest the bodyparts more after each workout tho... figure out if thats the issue and go from there

edit:
my split right now my body is lovin' it
chest/back
shoulders
legs
arms
rest

Nothing wrong with having tree trunks for legs.

haha i agree but I wouldn't mind having some bigger arms to go along with them.

Just keep pushing your leg gains man, a fair amount of strength coaches agree that you have to gain 10-15lbs to put an inch on your arms... and I find it's easy to put that weight on in your legs.

Just keep pushing those numbers up, and I bet the upper body will follow... I'm fairly certain though that if you have stop lower body training, then things will not go as well.

Also... something to think about, i find on cycle the big thing I can do is to add 5 or 10lbs to the bar every workout... provided my head is in it... make sure the weights are going up... and then the muscle will have to follow... that's just my personal opinion though.
