Mine is to quit drinking. I'm not an alcoholic or anything but I do like my vodka on the weekends. I really want to dedicate myself to my training next year so I'm giving it up.

Hummm...I don't mean to judge anybody, but I had NO idea that we had members that smoked. ..yeah you are right, time to quit!! Imagine a pack of smokes costs 10 bucks--you go through 2 per week on average, that is 40 bucks per month PLUS traveling time, gas wear and tear an extra 10.00 that is now 50.00
If you use interact at least 2 times 1.5 X 2 (assuming you have a good package at the bank for transactions, but you still pay store fees) that is now an extra 3.00.
Monthly $53.00 X 12 months= $636.00 that's A LOT of money that could be or could have been spent in juice for Gods sakes!!
New year resolution?
Patience. I am generally a very patient guy. I try to understand that people need chances, that people are not all on the same learning curve.
Love and compassion. I am not the best out there, I am an equal human being, no matter what I own or who I am with.--No I am sure I don't have the biggest pecker either.
I work in a place where I hold a lot of responsibility, I work with around 100 others, and many of them depend on me. For the year 2009 I want to be more innovative, more dynamic.
Around 4 days ago, I was finishing my shift and saw this coworker getting ready to leave also...I know that he takes the bus, but now with teh strike he was telling me that it takes him generally 1.5 hours EACH way---I drove him home (without sounding gay) I felt I did a good thing for another. He said to me: "Dude you don't have to" I said: "But I KNOW that if you could, you would do it for me" ---I am sure I planted a good seed in this kid--he is around early 20s.
End of story.

To add to the thread...mine is along the same line. The stopping involves getting detached from these people and finding ones that don't let you down.
Someone slap me, I sound emo.
