I'm working on a deal with Shaw for a free HD PVR if I exchange my Bell receiver... they'll give me a 2nd receiver [standard digital one] for a 2nd Bell receiver.

I was able to locate a 2nd Bell receiver to trade in but it isn't listed on my account or my bill. I'm worried that the Shaw tech will discover that I'm only paying for 1 Bell receiver and deny my 2nd Shaw receiver. I'm good with the soft skills and can probably make it fly anyway but I want to cover all of the bases.

If you are currently subbed to Bell and have 2 active receivers can you please tell me if your bill says so?

Under monthly charges mine itemizes
1 Digital Standard [peasant programming] $31
1 Digital Service Fee $3
for a grand total of $34 plus GST

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your help

BTW, BEV offered 50% off of a PVR purchase or free PVR rental for a year and 20% off of any programming package as a retention plan. If you are currently with Bell you might want to call and see what they can do for you.

I have 2 receivers, 1 I own and 1 I rent. The 1 that I rent is the only one that shows on my bill even though both are active. The rental unit is the HD PVR and the 1 I own is a regular unit. I really don't think the tech that comes out will care! As long as you have a unit to trade in it shouldn't matter!
