Do any of you fellow body builders find it difficult and a pain in the ass to go clothes shopping?? Ive been having a hard time getting fashionable clothes to fit right... especially jeans, every pair i try on, the ****ing quads will not fit. anyone else with this problem? and what do you do? For me when i finally do find pants that fit im buy them no matter what the cost hahaha..

buy a waist 38 if your waist is 33-34 and your legs will just fit

buy to fit the biggest parts; quads, arms, back, neck... and let a tailor make them look good. Hugo Boss has some pretty good fitting clothes off the rack but it's spendy

i have no problem finding stuff for above the waist but jeans are actually a huge problem. It's funny that you post this because I went jean shopping just today.

I had a real good pair of CK jeans that fit real well but I wore em so much that there's a huge hole in my crotch now and I can't find the same jeans again. I bought them at winners a long time ago and winners is always hit or miss.

Ended up buying a pair of RELAXED STRAIGHT LEVIs at sears. They're still not perfect, are too tight at the upper quads and more roomy than I'd like around the waist but they were on sale for 36$ and will do fine for now.

Just for shits and giggles I tried putting on the 501 original levis with the buttenfly and it was LOL. My waist is 32 and I could not even get the 38 pants past my knees. WHo the **** fits into these things?

Do what I do... grow yourself a waist that matches the legs so that a 42 pant fits both :D

suits and shirts have to be made to measure.
jeans... find a cut that is "large" and go up max 2-3" in the waist. hopefully you can fit into those and then get them tailored slightly. if you get anything modified more than a couple inches it wont fit right despite how good your tailor is.

look for the relax cut from seven. those are the best ive found that are nice. also true religion makes 2 styles that are very loose in the ass/quads but i would never wear those. depending how big you are william rast and g-star make some options too.

or be like me and live in a leisure suit 24-7

The opposite sucks just as bad. I tried on a Nike XXL workout top which sat great up top, but was down to my knees and I'm 5'11".

I frustrated the hell out of the sales lady at Harry Rosen when shopping for clothes. You could tell she was getting desperate for a sale when she broke out the ugliest t-shirt ever which was waaay too tight and said to me when I put it on, "That's the look!" LOL!

One of my members at my gym is a tailor and makes made to measure shirts and suits at a very good price. He's really good as I get compliments all the time when I wear his stuff. It's the way to go.
