Usually training for a comp tho. Either getting bigger for one or dieting for one.

I went through alot of them in the last 9 yrs. They rip, the padding goes flat etc. If not for wrist wraps on the gloves and straps I'd not have been able to lift as heavy. I have a pair of hooks that I use for pull ups too. Oh so gay. :troll

I do have perverted thoughts about the straps and the velcro but it's not gay by any means B2J.

I don`t wear them but don`t think it`s badly seen. Ronnie Coleman wears gloves. Just like some people critique others who use straps for back training. I use them almost every set and the difference is night and day, couldn`t care less what people think.

Chalk is my choice of preference, i've tried gloves years ago and i found i just couldn't get a solid grip. My hands would sweat and the gloves would slip over my palms.
