Iovate is not only going after the owners of companies but reps for the named companies even when the reps are not actual employees. It is apparent Iovate is tired of people talking negatively about their products, marketing tactics and forum behavior right here on bb.com. They have sent summons out and are trying to strong arm anyone that critiques their products in a not so positive light. This behavior put Iovate on the same class as Syntrax for myself. If you also notice Iovate whom is a very large corporation has singled out the somewhat smaller companies out there to flex their legal muscle. I find it outlandish that Iovate's legal team feals they have the ability to sue non-employee's for patent infringement. So Iovate why would you create frivolous lawsuits? Do you or your legal team understand the penalties that can become when this is proven in a court of law? It would be wise for you to drop all cases, give us a public apology and pay for all legal fee's associated with the cases.

The wording in your legal documents are interesting but keep in mind saying we are representatives is because we are following rules of bb.com

Quote:
Companies and company representatives must list their affiliation in their signatures. Affiliation includes but is not limited to Company name, home page url, and email addresses. Other identifying information such as
screen names, telephone numbers, and customer service lines are optional. Company representatives who do not list their affiliation in their signature are subject to banning and possible loss of posting privileges for the ENTIRE
company in question.

This does not make us employees. W-2 holders or receive monetary compensation for what we do. Many of us represent companies because we believe in the products and what the company stands for. So in summary Iovate is punishing the companies we represent to defend posts we make here that Iovate approves of. This costs small companies substantial
money. Ex. Local counsel wherever the supp company is, the New York counsel, the patent counsel etc. Even if they drop the case it costs these supp companies thousands.

Can you answer below?

Can't defend your products except by taking people to court?

U Mad because of this?

If you are pissed at me then come after me. Oh wait you have no case against a civilian that does not like your products, marketing or forum behavior.

The smokescreen is obvious if one sees whom is called in each summons and previous post history.

MuscleTech is kicking off its second transformation contest on January 1. Their contest thread on bb.com is already taking heat from those disappointed/outraged over the lawsuits or harassment.

I'm not sure what's what but did request that an MT rep make some kind of statement. Lawyers are involved, so I guess we all know the odds that they're going to issue any word on the accusations or what's going on in that regard.

SPACECLOWN made a YouTube as well:

I would love to know what patents they feel are infringed. I've heard green tea as a fat burner? I don't see that panning out. Seems like a case of them bullying smaller companies as they take a lot of shit on that forum.

This is just rediculous. It should be the customers suing HustleTech. If the jury gets to see the ads and claims they make about their products, they will make the right decision.
When you put supplements on the market saying 1950% better than regular creatine, you`re bound to get people talk shit about you.

Those pics are hilarious.

Back to the topic though, how stupid is that? MT suing them for bad mouthing a shitty product...

The real question is, does anyone on this board use MT products? At all?

MT products have ingredients that look fancy on paper with sugar coated names that sound very scientific which in fact they are...but i have tried the products and they work...but just what does work mean. I felt it. Did i change my physique. Mayb not... but there are a lot of supplement companies i can say the same about. truthfully supplements are a world of confusion and claims you just have to find what works for you, and what is neccesary for your goals. That being sed i am a part hater and i do believe they have some steep prices epecially if u r living off a university students wage :) lol

lol! Muscle Tech is so ten years ago. I hate their ads and their products are average at best. Im so sick of their bullsh..t transformations. They grab a fitness chick that squeezed out a puppy three days earlier and take a before pic, then pre contest take another shot. WOW! all from taking ephedra free hydroxycut!!!! Amazing. Basically sucking in people that dont know better.

MuscleTech, EAS, etc. just a way to separate newbies from their cash.
