Great player, let's just see how healthy he can stay. He took the big money though instead of staying on the east coast where he really wants to be. He may have to head out there a few times to recover from some injuries.

what gets me is he thinks he isnt a rental player! He wouldnt take a trade last year cause he didnt wnat to be one. All that money clouding his judgement? what do you think he is playing half a season?

he can thank neidmeyer and selanne for this, as the yset the presidence for playing half a season. otherwise he would be sitting on his ass looking in.

back to poker Mats,

It was a rhetorical question. It has been half a decade.

He's a nice piece of the puzzle and a good pick-up for the Canucks. They've been playing really hard with Luongo out: Hitting, scrapping, getting back on D, doing the dirty work in front of the net... If they can keep that up, get Luongo back, and get a point a game from Sundin then they should make it past the first round of the playoffs. I'm happy for the team, it's rare that something this good happens to us. Adding Luongo and then Sundin is something to crow about.

LMAO...^^^

Devils ?!?! I thought you were a flames/Oilers guy.

Sundins good for a point a game on average. Vancouver didn't have to give up a player or a pick for him and if it doesn't work out hes gone after the season.

He joining the team on the 27th. I assume he still wants to spend Christmas with his family... I expect he'll get his first action in Canucks colours before the new year.

^^Yeah there's a chance he may play before the New Year but I kinda doubt it.....it is exciting for us harcore Canucks fans because we're still sitting pretty in the West, top of the Div., and we dont have Luo or Sundin playing right now.....there were no expectaions for this team the last few years, so this piece (Sundin) should be fun to watch. Maybe we get past the 2nd round for the first time in 14 years!!!:yeah

What pisses me off about the whole thing is that he turned down the 2nd year and signed to the end of this year so he can "re-evaluate" if he wants to retire. Means he's going to do the same god damn thing again next year. I'm sick of hearing about him.
