Comparable cars quality wise, durability, etc.
Accord a little better resale value.
Not sure if you've ever driven a Maxima, but personally, can't stand Nissan interiors...they just feel cheap...
But, het, who am I...just some guy who's worked in the industry for 12+ years...

i love the look of the SE inside...but its almost too busy...and the 18" rubber!!!! you would need to drop $1300 on winter tires before i drive it.....yikes

Wait until the spring and by then you should be able to pick one up in the USA for cheap with all the subprime car loans that are going bad.

Go with the Accord. Dealerships are always more expensive. I'm getting an 05 Toyota Camry this week, at a dealership it would have been just like you said, about 4k more.

I have had Nissan's Toyota's and Honda through out my life. By far Toyota and Honda seem to have done me no wrong. Currently I own an accord and a Pilot. My understanding from my mechanic is that parts are usually cheaper for a Honda so to stick with them.
