CBB,

If you could sum up the year 2008:

-what were some of the highlights? Work wise, relationship wise, money, training......

For me: Early in the year my girl and I had broken off. We stayed apart for 5 months---while during 3 of those 5 months she contacted me several times...I went back to her.
I broke off the relationship 4 months ago, and it has been final.
Tough choice? You can be sure it was, as I know and feel that this chick is my soul mate.
My family is healthy, I am healthy.
I made some sacrifices this year, and those will pay off tomorrow.
3 months ago, I met a wonderful chick, with whom I have been spending a lot of time with...it is getting serious.
We are going to Cuba for 14 days with 4 of her closest friends.

Off the top of my head, that is the highlight for me.

honestly 2008 hasn't left too many good memories for me...Had a horrible run in with" everything that could go wrong did go wrong" I will be happy if things start turning around for me in the New Year...

I have a good outlook for 2009, but 2008 really blew relationship wise.

I got pussy whipped by this girl who I thought I would marry. We were talking about buying a house together. Making real plans. Everything was going great, but then one day it was all different. Still don't know what happened, but she's not in the picture, and I neglected training for over 6 months chasing her around. Plus I let her bring her dog in my house and scratch my ****ING HARDWOOD!!! Pissed on my bed too for **** sakes.

otherwise, around the house, got my huge ginormous deck built and got the hot tub wired up and picked onto it. been enjoying that. 75% finished my basement and will hopefully have it done this winter.

So for 2009 I am going to get ****ing ripped again. Going to break 405 on the bench this year if it kills me.

Going to concentrate on my business so I can one day soon pick up a Z-06

Chicks with a fun attitude NO DOUBT ma man!!
The only problem with hot tub parties is that I can't control my pecker, and I usually have to hide under the water for long periods of time---if other guys are around, I don't like to walk around with it standing up :rofl:sexy

But on a seriouse note :
I sure hope this coming year is better work wise and mentally for me also . this year was one of the worst ones in my life I dont have noting positive to say about it other than I am alive and lived through it ( so far )

lets reflect :

relationship split up ,

Lost my rig and business and went bankrupt

lost my own personal vehicle from ^ ,

moved to a new province and dont know anybody ,

3 family funerals including one of my kids ( you should never out live your own child IMHO ) ,

Unemployed before xmas with a heavy child support ( $2500.00 month )

ya I can hardly wait to start a new year

Well as always for the new year I am single again, I have my own place for the first time ever, I am making some decent money and I am almost finished paying off my student loans. Not too shabby.

This coming year I am going to squat and deadlift 600lbs and bench 500lbs. One day I may care about having a full 6 pack, but I doubt it. I will also compete in a strongman competition for under 230lbs. The future looks fun.

Hey bro, you have been gone for a couple of years....life has taken you for a ride.
I know you personally and I know of all the people on the sites, you are the most loyal and probably greatest guy to know. So very sorry to learn about your recent past.
I know from our recent conversations, that you are on your way up, and that your outlook is very possitive.

Her step mother is an evil bitch all of a sudden and now since my gf's father is gone she is trying suck all her dads estate from my gf and her sister. Theres been a huge legal battle thats been lasting months.

Been trying to sell my ****en money bucket BMW of which the value has been declining over the months. I now owe more on the car than what its worth.

Thanks man , hes the reason I am unemployed right now . I got the call on my way to work that he was on life support ( I knew he was in for resitory probblems ) and his chances were slowly going down hill . so I turned around and had a breakdown at home . then flew down to the Island to be with him on his last days .

Boss didnt see my reasons for not showing up for work.

The guy will get life to pay him back equally. management or business owners that do not compel to employees family situations do not last long.
We all have families and friends...those come before the dollar of the day IMO

You're obviously not in contact with him any more Drifta? I would love to get a hold of his email and send him a virus that will take down his server...cocksucker!!!
We could call it: "early xmas present"

2008 was a good yr....Carried on a strong relationship and she stuck by me through a scary illness off my feet for 10 weeks....Thought i was dying...She is a saint for sure...It made us both stronger.
We both moved on in our careers and relocated together again...She got a huge promotion, i made a lateral move...
Training has been great since i recovered from ilness, feel and look the best ever..
House is still for sale where we moved from, but thats ok...Feeling optimistic about it, if all else fails oits a big writeoff at tax time..
Or it will be a nice summer house, lol..
She bought a new harley, so i dont have to have her stealing mine anymore...
Competing in June and look forward to giving that a whirl..

I hope the best in the new yr for everyone...
Peace and good health, first and foremost, then whatever bonuses get thrown in are wished for..
Peace
