I don't use Itunes, I just use ISHUFFLE, it is easier - just like a memory stick, drag and drop your MP3s, run the program, done and done.

All songs not d/l from itunes have to be converted to AAC files before being transferred to your ipod... select the songs you wish to store in your ipod, right click and select 'convert to aac'... once this is done, you can place them in playlists, etc...

Thanks that worked , now I have more than 30 songs on the dam thing . I was going nuts when I was out walking or at the gym with the same old music over and over .

I'll have to find a lot of crap to fill this dam thing though , 120 gigs is a lot of room for music

Try this:foo_dop (http://yuo.be/ipod.php) component for foobar2000 (http://www.foobar2000.org/).

iPod management component which allows you to manage most Apple iPod models without the use of iTunes.

I don't have to convert from one lossy codec to another lossy codec to play. All *.mp3 downloaded w/ BitTorrent play just fine as is.
