To remember their lost friend these guys played dice! Wow.

Don't believe what any liberal media outlet says about this being an unjust killing because that is Montreal's Jane and Finch or lower East side.
Kid had it coming. What strikes me is that no one denounces the gangsta american culture which idolizes crime and leads to perfectly some of our poor but good neighborhoods becoming like American ghettos

hey I used to play dice growing up!
A lot of ghetto kids do idolize rappers, there is simply no other way for them to live, its hard for other people to understand by i'll try my best to explain.
The ghettos of MTL are full of people with **** all to do but sell/do drugs or work at a shitty factory job and sell/do drugs.
The problem is they have no other interests, the schools are straight ****ed and really need some programs to reach out to kids. I've been through the quebec and ontario school systems, ontario makes quebec look like a joke.
Ontario gives an extra year of school at the cost of 40 community service hours, my schools in quebec had no shops no programs it was books pencils and paper lol. Not that I didn't end up alright my parents are pretty well off compared to a lot of the ghetto boys I know.
hope that clears it up a bit, i know the music industry doesnt help but they arent the whole problem.

Kid had it coming? WTF?
I like to picture myself in the cop's shoes. You're arresting someone who's already got a criminal background while he's involved in illegal activities. You're standing there with your partner (who's a woman btw, so your backup is not exactly what you'd want it to be). There's 2 of you and at least 3 times as many of them. People screaming at you, insulting you, maybe even threatening you, and all of a sudden you start feeling hands on your neck. I'm pretty sure it would have been possible to handle things differently so no one would have died, but given the circumstances, I'm pretty sure he feared for his life. The kid laid hands on a police officer. No he didn't attack him with a knife, but he still attacked what keeps society together, order. Maybe his actions weren't enough to deserve him death, but I sure as hell won't mourn a person like that for a single second.

Maybe if the government had less regulations and taxes individuals and firms would want to invest in Quebec and create jobs and prosperity to allow people in the ghettos to work and improve their standard of living.
Instead we have socialism and welfare that stifle any chance of jobs and prosperity, and language laws the ensure that the only immigrants to Quebec come from areas like Haiti and West Africa, not exactly known for their skilled labor.

I'm with you on this . cop or not . if I was in a situation in like this where someone grabbed me from behind I would take him down also . it my life at risk
I wouldnt try to kill the person , but I would do my best to stop him

You're so right, we pay at least 10% more taxes than every other provinces. And we have even less services, how does that make sense? We take away money from hard working middle class people and support the lifestyle of non-workers and pay for hypochondriacs to spend their whole time clogging the hospitals. I'm all about helping the poor and healing the wounded, but when they NEED it

What is so funny about less regulations and less taxes and more private investment?

quebec gets so much money already from the federal gov't. and they deserve none of it as far as im concerned. im sure there will be plenty of private investors lining up to invest in a nation that wants to separate from canada. that shows real stability and makes perfect economic sense. quebec is the laughing stock of canada and they deserve nothing.
Now-a-days there's only so many people who actually want to separate. The problem is that those few people voice their opinion loudly and the rest of the canada hears this as quebec's voice. If we look at the recent elections in quebec, the liberals went in as a majority, which shows that most people are tired of this leftist attitude from the PQ. The last federals also show very low support for the BQ.

Im not so sure about the laughing stock, more like a unique gem, but they get a lot of special treatment for bs reasons I agree.
I think they should do like the americans are doing with schools and paying inner city kids 50$ for every "A" they get in their report cards. All they have in ghetto schools are breakfast programs and useless shit, 90% of kids go to school high anyways lol.
