This is nothing to be alarmed about. It happens to the best of us.

I remember after doing deadlifts one time last year, my lower back was is no much pain from the pumps, I layed down in the change room for a good 40 minutes before I could bring myself to get up.

A lot of people recommend taking 5-10 grams of Taurine ED help to reduce back pumps. I haven't tried it but its worth looking into.

Just came back from my cardio session---I could not do 20mins on the treadmill--so I had too run/walk...I feel like a wimp!

You had to run/walk? What is it that you normally do on a treadmill?

Do you wear a belt when you squat/DL? I haven't worn a belt in 10 years (except to push 3 or less reps) and I don't get the painful pump on or off cycle...although I only do var these days....sooooo

I used to try to get my heaviest sets in early in the workout before the pump became to much to handle. sitting on a bench with knees together and bending forward at the waste for a stretch will help you to keep it as loose as possible between sets. it sucks

Sweet merciful crap! These lower back pumps are insane.

Today was day 13 of dbol @ 20mg/day and my second squat day since I started. I had to lay down for a solid 5 minutes between my last 2 sets of squats and almost every set of SLDL's. I think I'll be taking it easy with some extensions and leg curls after squats next week.

On the plus side, PR's all over the place since day 4...can't wait for the test to be in full swing :D:D:D

edit: the back pumps started around day 10 in case anyone was curious.

I got them both on anadrol and dbol. I hate them so much I'll probably never take dbol or anadrol again. I would feel super fatigued on them, I had to cut volume down on squats and deads.

If I ever run an oral again I might try out Tbol.
