I'm planning a cycle of 12 weeks of 500mg Test Cyp.

I'm looking for a lean bulk (ideally, 10 more lbs of muscle, little fat).

I'm considering kickstarting it with dbol. Would adding the dbol help with my goal of adding lean mass? I understand I'll carry more water and look bloated while on the dbol, but at the end of my cycle, do you think I'll have greater gains (of lean mass) if I kickstart the Cyp with dbol?

Dbol gives alot of water retention which isnt great for lean bulking but overall its a good kickstart.

you could always use an AI to counter the aromatisation, therefore lowering the water retention

I would throw d-bol in there to kickstart. You will gain a bit of water of course but overall will have a positive effect on your growth goals. In the end, it really comes down to your diet.

if you want to run an oral, why not winny?
i know lots of people ahte winny, but lots of people love it too.
it increases strength, gains, and is DRY

T-bol is like d-bol without all the water more solid muscle mass.D-bol is a yo-yo gear.

Why is water retention bad for "lean bulking"? Won't I lose the excess water once I'm off the dbol? I don't mind having some excess water while I'm on the dbol so long as I am left with lean gains once I'm off the Test and dbol.

That is why i said people yo-yo on it they blow up on it,then once there off it they shrink back down.But you can always try it out to see how you do.

try it......i am starting to pulse dbol 1 hour prior to workouts.....no use on non gym days........

Seeing as I'm running Test Enan for 12 weeks, I was thinking of running the dbol during weeks 2-6 so that my Testosterone has fully kicked in by the time I'm done the dbol. Assuming my Test has fully kicked in, should I be able to retain all of the strength when I stop the dbol?

you will probably drop some water weight when you stop the dbol regardless if the test is kicked in or not. No one can tell you how strong your gonna be when you stop the dbol you have to wait and see!

Im currently running dbol on my test e cycle. Instead of using it to kickstart, start using it when the test kicks in. Im doing it, and so far I'm in heaven. Ive been using aromasin for the waterweight, its kept all the bloat and water retention to an absolute minimal. The strength gains may not be as thick this way, because of the insane strength waterweight can give you, but they are likely more realistic to what you will keep as gains, especially for a dbol cylce. imo.

water weight if fine even if you are doing a clean bulk, remember its only water, not fat! just make sure you eat good complex carbs with fairly lean meats and you'll be fine.. if you really worry about the water then reduce your sodium intake and drink a TON of water.
