I haven't been here long, but I haven't seen many threads about diet here! C'mon guys, all we talk about is AAS!

Anyways. I was just rading a thread about someone wanting to bulk and it reminded me of what I couldn't do without, my BIG BOY SHAKES!

Here are the ingredients:

-4 tbs Natty PB -400cals
-1 banana or some frozen berries or both-100cals
-2 tbs olive oil-240cals
-2 scoops chocolate whey-240cals
-3 cups cows milk-360cals

Totalk calories: 1,340

Blend er' up and you have yourself a nice tasting 1,300 calorie shake. Easy to make and goes down easy, especially in the morning. Some of us don't have much of an appetite when we wake up.

I drink two of these a day, thats more than half of my total calorie intake! Too easy...

Get creative and add more stuff in. Heck, throw in a chicken breast and a can of tuna :p No, thats just a bit nasty, but you get the point.

quick question, what type of oats are you using ? when I tried making mine last year, it was like the oats were expanding in my stomach, **** I felt like I was gonna blow up.. Not fun !! Since then been scared of the Oates in the shake

i make this shake every morning cause i hate eating in the morning, its easier to drink a meal

2 cups skim milk
3 tbs natural peanut butter
1 cups of oats
2 scoops protein powder

1 tablespoon of omega 3 oils
3 tablespoons of frozen blueberry's
3 cups of cranberry juice.
1-2 scoops of either strawberry protein powder or vanilla.

I used to mix in oats, but they end up all at the bottom and I have to chew my way through them.

The best thing to do it grind them all first and put them in a jar. Then you're basically putting in powdered oats instead of big chunks. Liquifies better.

Yeah def throw your oats in the blender first. I buy the quick oats instead of the regular ones (don't think there's anything added, only they're sliced thinner - guess it doesn't matter if you're blending them, but whatever).

I've never had the expanding in the stomach feeling though. And if you can't jam that whole cup into your shake, only throw half in your shake and mix the rest with water and just slam it back separately.

thats alot of sugars

probably about half fructose half sucrose. Always good to start the day off with some micronutrition!

hahaha I actually call it a Big Boy Shake! That's what I write down anyways. When I use less milk it actually is as thick as mud. You almost have a hard time swallowing it. I think its worth every agonizing minute on the toilet aftarwards :p

this year during my pre contest diet I was tired of chewing so blended hamburger and potatos!
tasted ok, but the texture made me wanna hurl and i learned to use warm water to keep the fat from congealing

This is from a camping trip I went on this year. I've used this cup for years to mix my Big Boy shakes! I have a little blender that I stick in a mix the hell out of everything.

This squirrel smelt the peanuts I guess and got real friendly with my cup :flagC

i dont know how you guys mix all this shit together, it makes me wanna vomit.

i eat everything separately ill fill a cup full of oats then just add water and drink, have a few spoons of pnut butter, couple bananas, then a protein shake.. takes longer but lets me keep from blasting my meal everywhere.

a diet shake i use 2 cup of vanilla or chocolate protein some ice cube and a tablespoon of instant coffee top it off with some fat free coolwhip and a pinch of cinamon and you are hardcore rofl

how many actual meals do you eat a day if 2 shakes are half your daily calories

Three solid meals plus the two shakes. Shake for breakfast, lunch, late lunch, train, then dinner meal, and a shake before bed. Plus nuts for snacks.. I find it too hard to cook and prepare up to 5 or 6 solid meals per day. I would end up eating fast food for half of them.
