I know we're not to ask for sources here, but I have a suspicion that asking about where to get syringes is different. I have heard there are ways to obtain them legally. If this is in any inappropriate I apologize, but whats the best means of obtaining them?

Well, looks like I posted a little early. I called up shoppers Drug mart and they sell them for .35 cents each. For whatever reason I had it in mind that it was going to be a little more difficult then that.. (Proof of a condition, Prescription or well... something).

Ya we are not like the US that some states you need prescriptions to obtain them. I get mine online though I hate the looks of all the woman when i buy them.

I hear ya.. I'll probably just use shoppers drug mart, but I'll buy enough for my 10 week cycle all at once. I don't wanna be dropping in every few days for pins. I gotta be honest, I'm a little nervous about my first injection. I really don't wanna screw this up. I know I'm going glutes for sure. Top right quadrant to start. I could care less about the pain, and I'm not worried about needles. Its the fact that I will be the one administering it. Here's a quick question.. when I pull back on the needle, how much should I pull back? And obviously I don't want blood, but then, what exactly will I be sucking out? These questions probably sound silly, but the more I know now, the more confidence I will have.

yeah its so easy to get pinz. I Just buy them by the box at the pharmacy. Never any problems, if any problems just flex your muscles for them so they know you mean business. lol

hey bro, i pull back maybe 1/4 inch. Just enough to see air bubbles enter the chamber, although it's not acatully air just rather the appearance of a vaccuum you're seeing.

Exactly. By pulling back on the syringe barrel, you are creating a negative pressure in the chamber which shows a few air bubbles (a vacuum). You don't need to pull back very far. If you are in a main artery, that syringe will start to fill with blood VERY quickly. You will know... trust me.

If you come across a few tiny droplets of blood in your syringe barrel, I wouldn't worry. Chances are, you might have nicked a vein while injecting, or the blood is from bruising from a previous injection. Good luck.

One or two times. But the syringe filled up FAST with blood, damn near blew the plunger out...lol...no worries if you get a drop, if you are in a vein you'll know - the pressure forces the blood up into the pin very rapidly. I just through the whole thing out then and started over.

It was my blood and still sterile I guess. But I didnt like the idea of shooting the blood back into the body. Just 1cc of wasted test, so not a big deal.

Went to shoppers, got my 22 gauge 1.5 inch syringes. No big deal, not even an odd look from the pharmacist. :D

Nothing gets pulled out, this is why a "vacuum" occurs in the barrel.

I have... twice. It sure-as-hell wasn't some blood from bruising because of a previous injection. If it ever happens, YOU'LL know! It's not painful, just freaky.
