The guy is a scum. I hate him, but he has served his time and everyone deserves a second chance.

Lets face it the guy is a douche and everyone knows it but he was also an amazing athlete, some team will pick him up.

What if he ended up out of the NFL and had to come to the CFL? Would you want your team to pick him up? Would you go out of your way to see him play if he was coming to your town? Would you be tempted to take a swing at him if you passed him on the street or saw him in the gym?

Any player banned from the NFL cannot play in the CFL anymore...

I had no idea. I guess I'm in favour of that, though.

Wrong, not in this circumstance. That mother****er should burn.

Having a second chance is like stealing a car once, and then getting a slap on the wrist. So you get a second chance to not do it again..

Killing, torturing, and mauling poor defenseless animals over, and over again should not be tolerated on any level, period.

I agree with flexy

His decision to engage in dog fighting is an honest reflection of his character, or lack there of. Maybe because I am a Ditka fan, but there should no room in the NFL for a person who lacks the moral compass of what is acceptable and taboo behaviour. This is not like Ricky Williams smoking hippie lettuce, but a guy who was involved with the torture of already mutilated animals.

Once a thug, always a thug.
