Other type of forums always have these threads. so why not us??
post up about your home gym. tell us what equipment you have.
and what equipment you still need/want.

I currently have,

powertec cage with high/low pulley attachement.
powertec adjustable bench with leg extension attachment
cheapo made in China Olympic bars, and weights.
Powerblock adjustable dumbbells 5-130lbs (best investment I ever made)
Northern Lights preacher bench
Vision Fitness 3.5hp treadmill

I desperately need,

combo hacksquat/leg press (need more variety for leg days)

I dont really need, but would love to have

cable crossover machine
incline lever row

^^ We have the vision fitness as well, it's been a great treadmill.

We have a Body Solid power rack with lat pull down attachment. Also have the Body Solid bench but I'm keeping my eyes open for a new bench. Also have about 600 lbs of Olympic weights. Olympic bar / Olympic curl bar / Olympic tricep bar/ dip belt.

My home gym is pretty cheap I haven't invested much into it and rarely work out from home(live in an apartment)

-Bench with leg curl/extension attachment, adjustable height on the bar placement so it works for squats too.
-Ab roller
-Fitness Ball for oblique rolls
-200lbs of non olympic(forget the name) plates
-25 lbs non olympic bar
-Pushup grips
-Pullup bar
-Leg/wrist weights
-10/15/20/25s dumbells
-floor mats

Decent for when money is too low for a gym membership, but my college has decent weight/cardio rooms.

set of 120lb dbs
Tricep Olympic bar
Atlantis Standing calf raise with 600lb stack which I bought off my gym for 300 bucks!
adjustable bench - flat, incline, decline.
Treadmill

Impressive, hardly a reason to go to a gym with an armory like that layin around at home. You are damn lucky about the calf raise as well, my college gym doesnt even have one I have to be creative with the smith machine lol.

JB, 2 questions: How much have you investedinto your setup so far?

And how stable are the power blocks? Been thinking of them for years, but can you do things like DB snatches and swings with them, or will the come apart and fly around if you do that?

I need more leg stuff too but heres what I have:

squat rack
470lbs olympic weights
dumbells
curl bar
cable cross over
bar in ceiling for knee/leg lifts
heavy bag
eliptical
bench (flat,incline,90 degree etc)

I really want to add more leg stuff and also something for dips.

Yeah , I was very lucky. My gym hired an exercise 'expert' who determined that stand up calf raises are bad for your spine and that seated calf raises do the same thing !! They held a silent auction and I was the only bidder at 300 bucks. If I had a lying hamstring curl I would quit the gym forever.

I have about $7000 invested so far in my setup. I bought it all new.

and the Powerblocks are very stable, they will not come apart during any regular use. you can use them for any exercise that you use db's for.
you just have to be careful you get the pins in the right place everytime.
so you have to pay attention.
the only real problem is you can NOT ever drop them.
you know how sometimes after a brutal set of flat bench or something
you just want to drop the db's, well you can't.
you have to sit back up with them and set them back gently.
that is the only disadvantage I have noticed.
of course, they recommend you don't bang them together at the top of each rep, either.
I have had mine for over a year, and I trust them completely.
they are very well made and well engineered.
over $1500 dollars (with the stand) and worth every penny.

My entire home gym set-up consists of 2 swiss balls, 1 foam roller, and a set of power block adjustable dumbbells. I enjoy going to the gym, but there are times when I need to fit in a work-out at home and it's pretty surprising how much I can do with such a minimal set-up. If I could get a set of blast straps and find something to hang them from, I'd be all set. I'd still go to the gym to lift heavy, of course.

Got around 700lbs of plates, a few bar and have a old Adrien gagnon squat rack lol guess they havent always been doing crap stuff..
northern light inclinable bench squar rack lat pull down/low pulley leg extension/curl (that one kinda suck) and a swish ball punching bag. Missing a treadmeal or a good eliptical.
Power block are tempting me alot.
No one as a power plate at home ;)

some of you guys have some sweet set ups!
unfortunately, being a poor-ass student hasn't allowed me to accumulate much equipment. I've got some dumbells that i made a few years back by threading a bar...they can hold 120-140lbs each, but i haven't invested in the weight yet

Powertec Cage with chinup and dips bars.
Adjustable Bench
1 7-foot O bar.
2 O DB handles
1 O Ez-Curl bar
maybe 500 lbs in Olympic weights? 200 lbs of those being in 10 lb'ers for the DB handles.

Same setup along with a treadmill, stationary bike and two homemade xtra long db bars that I can load up with plates as I desire. The cages are great for home use. Safe & versatile. Would like a pulley setup, but am living without it.

My Box...

Free Spotter - not quite as flexible as a power rack but you can't beat the price and not having to walk out or get a push out on the bench is awesome.
(highly recommended even if you have a power rack).

260# Rubber Bumpers
400 in metal plates (time to start selling these off to recoup some money)
A good bar and a crappy bar
A stack of dumbbells (collecting dust - should probably lose some of these as well and make some room)
Lifting Platform
Flat Bench
Chin Up Bar
Bike
TreadMill
Chinup Bands
Rings
20# basketball
swiss ball
big fan

Made my list of stuff I still want today:

More bumpers (another 180 should last me till summer)...
bumper stand (diy)
5# Technique Plates (hitech)
Concept 2
Pillars of Power/Poverty
Squat/Bench Stands
GHD
A Sled
Farmers Carry Implementrs
Reverse Hyper
3 or 4 ***** stone for the back yard
A tire (my wife would kill me)

The only problem is that I'm probably going to have to knock down a wall to make room.
