I haven't slept more than a few hours in months! Some nights I don't even fall asleep at all. Its driving me crazy. I'm a mess most days.

Melatonin doesn't work. Prescription pills do the job but I don't use them because I don't want to become dependent.

I tried smoking some weed, even though I'm not a smoker. That didn't work. I got too f'n high and it had the opposite effect on me!

I visit a Naturopath occasionally as we try to find a solution. She gave me homeopathic remedies. Those don't work.

Anyone else on the Insomnia train to nowhere?

I was having serious issues for quite a while. Now that I am on HRT and am working out hard, I sleep like a baby.

I'm the same. My mind will simply not shut off. Been like this on and off for years. On the weeks its really and I just need to sleep I crank a few sleeping pills OR down a bottle of wine. Mostly I hate taking things to get to sleep so I just deal with it.

Sucks large though!

WORLD, when did the insomnia manifest itself?

I've always had a problem falling asleep, but eventually I'd pass out.

September of this year if I could pin point it. Since then it's been terrible and I've looked at it as a problem.

Coincidentally, this is the time I finished my recovery of my first cycle of Test. Could this have anything to do with it? hard to say.

To the others that recommend drinking alcohol; I've gone out drinking and surprisingly even that doesn't work. Laying in bed drunk sucks.

One of the most important things to do when trying to fall asleep is releasing your jaw muscle.

If you've ever done blow you would know why you get a sore jaw the next day, you are so wired you clench your jaw non stop, theres a part of your brain thats connected with that, infact you see unaware "drool cup" mentally disabled people with their jaw constantly dropped right? Thats because they arent using their brain as much as you are, and what are you trying to shut down when sleeping?

In my experimentation with this i've even started drooling a bit, but just remember to tell yourself, LET GO OF THE JAW.
apart from that a hard day of cardio always sets me to sleep, but im bulking now. :(

hope that helps, i remember hearing that on a radio show and it nearly saved my life lol.

Ha! I've never heard that one before. I'll definitely try it out, I got nothing to lose....except maybe a bit of drool :D

Close your eyes half way only. Look at your feet in bed.

Did you get bloodwork done after your PCT for your cycle? Poor sleep has been associated with low Testosterone. GO back and get a full blood panel done.

I'm actually going to get bloodwork this week to prepare for my next cycle coming soon.

I have a feeling that once I get back on I'll sleep better. I hope so anyways.

Me, too. I also got a foam mattress to replace my old spring mattress. HRT, heavy training, and a good mattress get it done for me.
