I am interested in a low-dose cycle but seem hard pressed for any real information on one. It seem the internet is full of people reading high dose cycles and spreading that like gospel. Any have any experience with running a simple 500mg a week cycle? results? It's not for myself and cost is not a concern but side effects are.

any input?

my 1st cycle was 400mg per week test e and i enjoyed it.....then i added in anavar and wish i didnt......

You can do very well at 500mg.

500mg would be great, little no no sides, with great results especially if this is your 1st cycle. Run proper PCT, and HCG would most likely not be required.

I have found that low dose cycles work very well for me.
My current cycle is 250 mg/week of testosterone and 200 mg/week of nandrolone.
solid gains with minimal sides, just depends on your goals.
How big do you want to get in how short of time?

I look at bb as something I will always want to do, so even though my goal is 250lbs, (I am currently 230lbs) I don't really want to achieve it for another 3-4 years.
If you gain slower, your body has more time to adapt to the additional mass,
and you will be more likely to keep your gains.
I just think a lot of people try to make it all happen too fast.

Good advice from the expirenced. 500mg of test per week is good.

Honestly, I don't really see the point.

If you're going to go on, then go on. Do it right, make it worth your while.

I've grown on low-dose cycles at a moderate pace, but now that I've started into higher doses (1,000mg+) I won't even entertain the possibility of doing less.

See and thats the gospel that I am talking about. what makes a high dose cycle "right"? why does 1gram a week make it "worth my while" if 500mg gets me solid gains without the side effects?


I love that you interjected into this topic with the same "more is better for me so it must be for you" argument that i could not get away from on other boards...

For me to make noticeable gains I need 500mg test\week. I tried dropping back to 250mg\week and added 40mg var\day and I was barely keeping me strength gains. I was also cutting calories so that may have contributed to it. I am a newb when it comes to Test so I can see how guys who have been on for a long time would need higher doses to see consistent gains.

i've done both, I get a lot of negative sides with high dosages. I'm far happier to run a low dose and get no sides, plus I feel it's safer for me, health wise, as I get prone to high BP etc...

it really depends on your goals. If you just want an extra 15 or 20lbs of muscle and your just a recreational lifter low dose is the best thing to do. More is not always better. The best cycle I ever did was 400mg of test with a strict diet and workout routine.

TEX why didn't you like the anavar. sorry info is good to know. what did or didn't do for you? everyone is different,

Curious as to why you wish you hadn't added Var into the mix?
it dominated my hdl.........and everything else......i have pre var bloodwork and post var bloodwork.....the post var bloodwork freaked me out

and 1 more thing.....var is for girls.....if you gonna do an oral use dbol or drol or halo ;)
