Have any of you guys ever had a bad feeling waiting on an order?
I've literally lost track of how many orders I've recieved, but for some reason I'm just getting a bad feeling about this one. Thought i would have got it last Friday and it's still not here... I never got a tracking number, and I know everythings fine... but still can't shake the bad feeling.

800 workers are on strike at the moment and I am certain that this is domino-effect like and is affecting several cities.
I drive by them every morning.
Pretend you never ordered anything....it does not look very promising...sorry to say this to you.
Be patient, there are others like you.

holy shit... I stopped reading the paper and watching the news a ways back... I can tell you it has definately lowered my stress and anxiety levels.... but I never heard about the strike.
I am in Ontario, so now I feel a lot better.

Are you saying it's going to take a while? or that you think I might not get it at all?

For now just know that if you in Ontario---Ottawa...those ****ers are walking the street every morning.
I see them on my way to work---CBC, all the news channels plant themselves by the side street.
800 Postal workers walking and not working.
You do the math on that.
Mail will be backed up for weeks? Months if this goes past December. :(

I've waited longer on stuff from my local guy than I have with over-seas orders.

I know the "Bad Feeling" you are talking about.....trust your intuition. As long as you are dealing with a good source you will likely get a resend to a diff address......If they dont work it out with you, then they aren't so good.....
I have blacklisted a few in my day

Yeah as Tony mentioned it is only admin so CPC is stating that it shouldn't effect mail delivery. However there are picket lines outside some stations, they are allowing traffic through but are making them wait which is delaying things. It will eventually slow things down slightly for the consumer.

I feel bad about the striking postal workers. yea, in this economy you have a guarantee job and pension, but you want more money AND more time off:
"Canada Post employees are on strike mainly because they believe that they need 15 annual accumulating paid sick days plus five annual family-related leave days.....Twenty days of leave plus vacation"
how many weeks of vacation do they get? 3, 4? so that combined with their 20 sick/family days is 8 weeks off plus a wage increase? Do they not read the headlines, job losses everywhere? Who runs this union? I can see if the economy is booming, i'm lucky to have a job let alone bitch about 4 more weeks off....

unless the worker decides he wants to steal it. Remind me make a post as to what I know that transpires at some of the bigger outlets.

Got the pack today, no problems... still don't know why I was getting nervous... I didn't even act like this when I placed my first order

I don't care how sure you are of your source, you read enough horror stories about being ripped off on the net and your subconcious is going to trip you out.
