Didn't want to make it seem like I was source checking. Sorry!

How were you sure they were fakes?

Was a lab test done on your 'fake' gear

What cycle were you on? length.? diet in check? etc.

Lots of things to factor in.

Global Labs.

I've been on for 5 weeks, and have noticed no changes in weight or strength.

Furthermore, anecdotal stories from friends seem to suggest that my supplier is selling bunk gear (at a premium as well...)

Also, the dbol I used from Vitacan yielded minimal results. While I did gain water weight initially, strength gains were non existant.

P.S: While I know there are many mitigating factors that can influence the efficacy of a cycle, I would like to think I performed my due diligence with regards to training and diet.

Weeks 1-4: Dbol at 30mg per day
Weeks 1-5: 300mg of Test, injected every Monday and Thursday (600mg total)

Total calories were ~3500, with anywhere from 350-400g of protein a day (a modified version of the Paleo diet). Though I will concede 3500 isn't alot to some, I have managed to gain in the past using the same diet.

Size has never been a priority for me though, strength is, and always will be, my true love.

Using an olympic/powerlifting program, my lifts barely changed (added about 5lbs to front squat and bent over row, but lost 5lbs off my power clean). I could have made those gains naturally!

5'10, 209lbs (I don't entirely know my body fat, but enough to see upper abs :) )

I have been training for about 5 years, with an emphasis on power and olympic lifting.

Be careful, there are more HG fakes out there than UG...

oh ok well it seems like you know what your doing, I was just asking because I have a friend he weighs 180 pounds hes on cycle almost all year round and he cant gain weight. he always blames it on his gear he switches labs like he switches underwear. but the reality is he does not eat enough.

Sigh... this is getting difficult. Does anybody else find it this hard to get legit gear, or am I just a gnub? :( (Not asking for sources)

Just stick around a while, get to know people and something should come available.

You realise that it takes 4-6 weeks for test levels to peak so stoping at 5 weeks wasn`t too bright. Some people dont feel anything until after that point. Also dbol does not guarantee water weight..... I think your diet is probably off. Blaming the gear is the first thing most people want to do but in reality its usually the diet/training.

i disagree. his diet could be crap and training not as intense. but after 5 weeks of jabbing shooting test and 4 weeks of dbol. he should of gained some strength. definately more then 5lbs.

so i would say what he is taking is severly underdosed or junk
