smoke some weed bud......good questions though, i'm in the same boat as u, have a hard time eating lots of food.....weed is the only thing that works for me to help boost my calories

Do some cardio on alternating days, B12 works for some and EQ as well.

i tried EQ at 900mg/wk didnt do shit
will try some b12

This is a great quetsion and I have searched many sources and tried many things. Weed is out for me, B12 did not do shit, EQ did nothing for me and so I stumbled across an article that advocated H2O in between meals to promote digestion and stimulate appetite. This has worked very good for me at about 1L between meals. In addition I stay clean as possible as I have found for me if I eat processed or any fast/resturant food it slows down me metabolism. eat more calorically dense foods or foods you like. a big bowl of ice cream won't hurt you if calories are controlled and it goes down pretty easy.

Interesting. Don't you normally drink tons of water all day anyway? I can't agree with your last point if macros are consistent the thermic effect of food is essentially consistent. If by "slowing down your metabolism" you mean you feel more full thats probably because you crushed 3 times as many calories as you would in a normal meal.

You are right I "should" be drinking alot of water, but for me I was inconsistent and struggled. Now I make sure to drink at least 1L between meals as a rule and it has helped me.
As for the fats food it could be the condensed cals packed into a small portion or maybe the fat or the highly processed carbs, not sure. I just know for me if I eat 9oz of beef and 12oz of rice/potato I will be more hungry than if I eat a papa burger, fries and onion rings.

I see. I know I had to learn to carry a water bottle to ensure I got my water intake down.

That's weird, I wish my body reacted that way. I know I could eat 1000 cals of ice cream way before I'm choking down 1000cals of oats. You could try more liquid food the body doesn't typically sense it the same way. To add an additional 1000 cals just make a big homemade weight gainer and drink a little bit with each of your meals.
