How do you keep up the motivation/appetite to eat?

I've been eating big since August and have gained about 25 pounds and maintained my bodyfat percentage. I have pretty much reached the point where I'm anxious to get to New Years and spend 12 weeks focusing on fat reduction.

I really enjoy the workouts but the eating all the time is a serious chore for me.

Typically I kinda cycle up and down my eating so I never get to much bf,

Lets say I eat
Week 1-3 3500cal
Week 4-6 4000cal
Week 7-9 4500cal
Week 10-12 5000cal
Week 13-15 5500cal
Week 16-18 5000cal
week 19-21 4500cal
....
....

It makes so so I am always use to eating but I get a rest of the 8 meals aday every once in awhile... And I always keep my bf within 2-3%

Drugs are bad :)

Reefer just puts me to sleep and makes me useless.

Calorie cycling "sounds like" it makes sense within the context of a 8-12 week training cycle. I really have to eat towards the end to recover from my workouts and keep raising the weight but at the beginning when my intensity is lower and I can do with less calories.

But(??) The first few weeks of a new training cycle seem to be a recovery period and a pretty good chance for growth....

So basically I have no clue. So far all I know is that if I eat a calorie excess and lift I grow and If I don't then I don't.

Thank goodness for A&W Grandpa burgers and Milk

Whenever I bulk and structure a strict diet, I find the pyramid style of intake to work wonders with me.
I go from high proteins NO carbs and towards the end of the week Thursday and Friday I up the calories, more carbs and less (BUT NEVER LESS THAN 200grams per day) proteins.
Then Saturday is my cheat day...Sunday I write off completely.
Then Monday-Tuesd-Wed and part of Thursd strict hard core.---I am never completely depleted and never bored while I diet.

At the moment I am letting myself take it easy, and for the next 1.5 months, NO restrictions.....but come January I am bulking like never before...I want to hit the scales at 240 by End of Feb.
I allow myself to go easy 2 days per week, but i also bust my ass at the gym.

I average 12% year round...and roughly 10% summer time.

I find it hard getting a lot of calories.....I am naturally not a big eater! Not sure how some guys can eat so much. Thank god for weight gainers.......also thank god for marijuana...getting the munchies sure helps me out with eating :D

Mauro Di Pasquale does have a similar diet. 5 days are low carb, but then 2 are higher carb with less protein. Works well because it makes muscle cells more insulin sensitive.

As for eating, it takes time to increase appetite. You use all the blenders etc but the fact is you can't go from eating 3500 cals a day to 5000 cals a day in one cycle, especially if you are getting most of your cals from meats and wholes foods. It takes time for the body to adjust and accommodate what you put in.
