Im not saying that the way the media portrays what they call, " roid rage " is correct. However, lately people around me including my family friends and girlfriend have said they they notice I am becoming different. More aggitated, easier to piss off then normal. I shrug it off, but today I snapped at my brother because he was wearing my shoes haha. (we live together) I said some shit that honestly just came out, and immediately i felt bad about it. I dont know what is happening to me lol. Im not going to chris benoit my family or anything lol but damn my anger is definately worse. Anyone have any stories or input about this problem. I dont want to get into "roid rage" because i know it pisses alot of us off, but just curious if you have "elevated levels of anger" ?

An asshole off gear is a bigger asshole when on gear. Maybe you should consider the possibility that you're just an asshole? :D

yep var made me snap on my friends/flatmates but they knew what i was doing so it wasnt that big of a deal, and i never complettely flipped out i was just irritable especially if people made me wait for them uuuuuuuuuuuuugh such a huge pet peeve especailly when someone makes you wait cause youre supposed to work out together

my advice is just be aware and apologetic, say youre having a bad day or you ate shitty food have heartburn/cramps whatever OR if its an option be honest and say it will all be over in 4 to 8 weeks

I think this could turn out to be an interesting thread.

Over the years I have been able to pin point differences from when I am "on" and "off" and how I react to certain situations or scenarios.

I am much more mellow while on cycle, never have highs or lows, just feel good and content alround... Never done tren though so i'll let you know in a few weeks

I`m on Test and Tren and actually happier and calmer then when I`m off cycle. Besides the random thoughts while driving I have little aggression.

Mkay, personally I think roid rage is a myth. Compounds (like tren) that stimulate the CNS to an excessive degree can increased irritability and anxiety. Taking too many stimulants can have a similar effect, and letting your blood sugar drop too low when using slin will get you the same results. But when you hear about somebody who "snapped" on var that just screams that the "snapping" was purely psychosomatic. You stay around this stuff long enough and you see the pattern repeat over and over again, young guy gets a couple of tabs of something (usually its their first or second cycle) and they proceed to run around acting like a complete asshat because "WATCH OUT BRO, I'M ON GEAR", lol, its pretty funny. ;)

You're PMSing because your body is in a state of hormonal flux now that you've come off. Your body is trying to normalize itself, so just chill out, watch some Oprah, cry at the long distance commercials, and remember that the crankiness is only temporary. :)

.

thats valid. i guess i meant "snap" more like when you sharply raise your voice at someone... i understand that some guys like to advertise they're on and hey watch out, cause i used to see my buddy do it all the time

anyways, i definitely noticed more irritability when i was on than currently but it never made me angry or raged up

I think all it does is help bring out your true colors. I'll be the first to admit that when I'm "on" which is almost always, I'm more irritable. I'm easier to piss off and when I do lose my temper it can include as much as yelling or throwing shit. I've always had a bad temper, way before starting gear. I think all the gear does is amplify your negative features but it also amplifies your positive features. I find when I'm on 800 to 1000mg Test per week I am the nicest and happiest person but at 400mg (cruising) I get irritable.

I find it does affect me in little ways such as when i am "on" i tend to be more irritable and i seem to lose my patience alot quicker then when i am "off"........however i personally feel I have some anger management issues anyways

I am happier and calmer on gear. The only exception would be driving, but I have little patience when I am off in the car. A little counting in my head usually solves that though.

Only thing that makes me irratable and snappy is dieting.

I find when on I just don't put up with shit.. any shit. I've never blown up out of nowhere, someone has to do something to piss me off.

I blame it on your ****ing brother wearing you damn shoes... nothing pissed me off like my brother wearing my shit, on cycle or not. Just when I'm on cycle there's a higher chance I'm going to stand up for myself and say something, then just getting pissed off in my own head.

I don't know if what I'm describing is me "roid raging" but if it is... then I personally love roid rage.... that's just me, and I could be wrong... but when on cycle I also notice I don't think I'm ever wrong...ever.

Same here. Usually I'm pretty good at keeping stuff to myself, but at times, that ain't all that healthy. Now I'll usually just let my opinion be known and people usually take the hint. Never blown up at people, it's more of making a stand for myself or not putting up with petty shit that has a place elsewhere. All in all I think it comes down to a confidence boost.

When ever I was showing rage, I was also dieting down and in need of a meal. I never was able to identify the difference of why I went off on my teens.

My teens would pressure me with things that were not important at the time..food was. I would toss dishes in the kitchen is all. Break things.

Aggression (not rage)....I did see changes. Good changes. I would approach work with an aggressive attitude. I approached people I normally wouldn't. I had extra drive to finish projects around work and the home.

IMO..it was a good bonus most times.

test, eq, tren and a glass of red wine makes me an emotional little crybaby. not aggressive lol
however, take out the red wine, and look out. there is no question i am more aggressive. but you are still cognisant of behavior, and have the ability to control your temper.

personally i think roid rage is a myth, i do not believe it makes you "snap", it may give you a reason to snap but it may just be in your head. you know how some dieters become retards just because that is what is expected of them when they diet.
do i get pissed off when on, hell yes, but no more than when off. the same bs irrittes me an i have to make the same decision, should i get all up in someones face, forget it or express my displeasure calmly.

More aggressive yes, but also more in control and generally calmer.
I am however tired like a teenager this growing shit is exhausting.

Misconception? Myth? association by size? Muscle bound and bound by anger?....all comments I have heard from peoples mouth and or media reports over the year.

There is indicative data that anabolics do affect the placebo, that they do affect our way of thinking....over the years I have discovered that it is virtually impossible to substain a healthy love relationship while on gear.
I have noted that while OFF gear I can maintain and enjoy the rewards of a relationship, and one that is not submitted to an avalanche of ups and downs...ups and downs that shizzel away at my predictability, my ability to consistently make the right decisions and or convey the right idea.

COnvey the right idea? Delivery is everything.
I know that whenever i am on gear I tend to be a little more edgy; goes without saying that compounds such as: MT1 (not classified as an anabolic but does convert at some point), tren ace or enan, Deca, LONG term use of EQ (normally cycle on EQ will include 16 weeks and UP) provide instability whether I want to or not.
While on cycles I am more aware of what is going on around me, because I know that I do change.
I ran 2 different experiments while dating a lady who KNEW me inside out. During the two occasions that I jumped on gear without her knowing (or giving me permission :D :D ) she was able to come to me within 10 days of start up and tell me that the look in my eyes had changed, that I was on something. Dilation of the pupils to some extend, my voice tone and intonation.

There is also a level of maturity (which we will all reach at some point or another) during which time we will be able to control our emotions better and handle that fight with the girlfriend...or a bad driver...or a bad costumer, better regardless of what we are on.

I am sure most of us here are civilized humans beings and we all face challenging situations during our days, whether we are on gear or not, it is how we handle/approach, right?

Bottom line: I too endure my tough moments while on gear---I hate paranoia above all.
F&%CK EQ :D

You guys made some good points that made me realize a few things about myself. Its not that I'm a cranky ass when on gear its more than I won't back down or take shit from anyone... And I mean anyone... I am a business owner and I find when off gear I'm more in agreement with anything my clients tell me. Whether I think they are wrong or not. When ON gear I'm more likely to tell them they are full of crap and they don't know what they are talking about...

It seems to be a "heat of the moment" thing with gear. I don't walk around my house wanting to hit people 24/7... It just takes something to push that button inside me that sets me off... I guess I have a few extra buttons when on gear though...

I've been ON gear for over a year now... I know, not the brightest move... Its more of a self inflected beta test I'm running on my body and blood levels... Being on for so long I have found that I learned to control the aggression more than when I was doing 12-16 week cycles...
