well guys i have always done cycles with more then 500mg week test.i am now going to try a 14 week cycle of test cyp at 250mg week to see what kind of gains i can get with low dose.i hear a lot of folks that did it and got pretty good gains out of it considering their diet and trainning where in check.
I wouldnt expect as much strength gain or mass gain but I`d imagine it will still help you nicely with gains.

I've ran that cycle MANY times, all of which yeilded nice results.
Certainly a cycle (for me anyways) in which I was not suspected of being on, rather..

Honestly I dont really see the point going below 500 for a cycle, or 350 for a cut, you are trying to fast track gains... and just slightly going above normal test levels isnt going to yeild amazing results maybe, running 400mg/week would be good...
250mg/week will make it seem like you just got good genetics, but you wont be adding serious lb...

They actually say its 75mg-110mg i believe, however these numbers are completely irrelivent each person is differnet it doesnt correlate the sameway in each person...
Some HRT patients take 100mg/2weeks and get normal text levels some need 125mg/week to hit normal test levels...
Each person is different... On this cycle of 250mg/week you could go to the docs and get blood tests and see what they are... You might be way above normal, or might actually be in high normal...

250mg/week is basically just a replacement dose of your own test levels if you ask me.. you should not expect much.

a healthy man produces about 10mg's of test/day.

All the guys who have posted before know their shit and are probably right.
However, I've personally seen a guy run 250mg's a week and just blow right the eff up. 15 lbs, lots of strength gains, better mood. This guy was already a pretty high end powerlifter, but he's also kind of a douche and stopped training and lost everything...
But the moral of the story is you can absolutely make gains from 250mg's a week. whenever I'm cruising I'm still making progress in the gym, not as much, but still going farther than before. You aren't going to reshape your whole body or anything, but you can put lots of weight on your lifts and that will yield some decent size gains.
The very worst thing that can happen isn't really that bad. If it doesn't work out, you didn't spend a lot of money and you know yourself a lot better at the end.
it just comes down to your goals, if they're big... you might want to consider a heavier cycle. If you're looking for more modest goals then go for it. I say gor for it. Why take a half gram when you can take 250 and make the same gains? only one way to find out. Good luck dude.
