View Full Version : Next logical place to pin?

I currently pin in the quads, delts, and glutes.
I am looking for the next best area to pin. I am considering lats, traps, or pecs. which of these areas would you recommend? or something else?
I want a place with minimal chance of hitting stuff I don't want to hit.
(thats why I have stuck to quads, delts, and glutes, as I understand they are the safest)

Alot of people like chest, might be worth a shot.
I personally don't pin calves.. because there's a chance I might hit my penis.

Here is what I suggest from experience:
Glutes, but it has been years since I cannot do them---I can't reach anymore :( Even laying down on my side.
Shoulders are a golden spot for me, but only 2 heads never the back.
Quads are heavens play ground!! I can hit a few spots without problems.
Chest no problem
***WOULD NEVER DO CALVES***EVER!!! trust me.
Not interested in doing bic, or tricepts at all. The consequences could be deadly for me :D :D too much pain I think.

I go with chest laying down on the bed...nothing like being lazy about it at the same time...then biceps. Traps and calves I wouldn't suggest..more chance of getting an infection...

Most of my injections are done in the triceps and chest. I'm very fond of pinning Triceps.

how long are you finding it takes to heal and how many cc's at a time?

I'm doing 1.5cc in each of my Triceps which consists of a mix of Test-E and Deca in each syringe.
I get sore for about 2 days and swollen for about 3 but oddly enough I actually like the pain and swelling in my tris... I know, I'm weird that way...

My first trap shot was hell - 1cc. Pain didn't subside for at least a week (such a noob haha).
Chest shots are painless (Using both Tren Ace and Test Prop) 1 cc total, but I've heard that there may be more chance for absesses? Can anyone confirm this?
Lat shots are good too - not too painful either, maybe a day or so.
Bis are great, easy access, but make sure you don't have an arm/back workout in the two days following.
Calf shots are alright too - cripple you the first couple times though. Walkin like someone hit you with a bat in the leg. Pin in the lateral head - safer from what I hear.
As for tris, never done 'em, but previous posters have made me interested...

I have done many many chest shot's and drew blood once and never had the smallest inclination of abscess forming or redness. mind you in areas like these I stick to human gear just to be on the safe side. More alcohol in the area the more chance of you aggregating the area.

Only took me once, since I know its a lie :p .
Use to only pin glutes, quads, and delts. Recently added ...
: Hips - Easy and painless. Could take up to 3cc no probs
: Traps - painless but awkward to pin
: Chest - Smooth as butter

I have seem MANY juicers approach the hip area myself....There is a fairly big and healthy muscle in the hip area.
I don't know that I would be bold enough to touch the trap muscle...too risky IMO

I think you guys are talking about the ventro/ventral muscle (something like that can't remember the exact name)

Or is it that part when you squeeze your ass tight right above the indent? Gluteus Medius? Or am I completely wrong...

I tried this size, but found it WAY too hard to push the plunger on a 3ml syringe. Is that what you guys are using? Or are there 2ml slin-stlye pins this size avail somewhere?

ventrogluteal sounds like a darn good spot.
Next question would be 1" or 1.5"?
I currently use 1.5 for glutes.

Ventrogluteal....
Ow, I feel like a 90 year old with arthritis. My 400 mg/ml - .75 mls usually makes for a little discomfort but I'm feeling like an old man. It aches.
Maybe I should try calves next.

OMG im crying!

Like Amoral said, its the Gluteus Medius. Not the ventro glute. Easiest way to find it is to raise your knee as high as you can. You should see a soft ball bulge out around your hip below the hip bone. Thats the area to pin.

I do delts, quads (upper and lower areas} glutes and both traps. Only started to do traps once they got big though but once they did love shooting there. Easy to see in the mirror and no streching and reaching for me.

Love the calf shots. Very easy to get to, and after the first few no pain at all. The first few times are hell though. I alternate between the 4 calf heads, each glute, and each quad then repeat

i don't know about the calves. i've done a few, maybe I should keep at it, but it's not a 'fun' pain, at least for me. All of the other shots I kinda like a bit of discomfort, but I really don't like the calves....but to each their own i guess

SA test e & d in the hip was 6 days with a limp.
Won't be trying that combination again.
Inflammation near joint = bleah
On the plus side I tried prewarming the oil and ended up with zero post injection pain on a quad shot with the same gear. Big difference.
