Arimidex... I want your thoughts.

Hey. I have got a question regarding Arimidex and dosage. I have read people using .5mg ED, .5mg EOD and .5 Every third day.

What would you suggest?

What has worked best for you?

When do you start it / when do you end it?

I am aware of the search button, so please spare me. Just looking for some direct feedback on how everyone utilzes this AI.

.5mg eod is good for me, but I find letro is drastically stronger and will use it on all my cycles with 19 nors now.

It all depends on what you are doing. Arimidex in any case is not the best choice for an AI as it messes with your HDL levels and that is not a good thing. Aromasin or Femara are much better choices. That being said it all depends on how much test you are running if in fact you require an AI at all.
Anything under 1g per week of test is completely uneccessary to run an AI unless you have existing gyno issues etc.

If your on a mild cycle, nolva be better choice due to a-dex negatively affecting your lipid profile which was mentioned.

..but if you already got it, recommend either EOD or E3D @ .5mg

I'm not sure the sides with test are so much dosage related as rate of change related. Now that I've got my blood levels fairly stable at about 8 weeks in I found much less need for adex. When my blood levels were rapidly increasing I was having issues w/ water retention and puffy nipples and I was looking to the adex eod around .5. I won't be terribly surprised if I have sides again on the way down.

I am prone to gyno, I tried Letro last cycle and it was WAY to strong for me. So, I figured A-dex would be another opton.

What level were you running the letro at? I take a quarter tab a day and it works great for me. Very economical that way too.

I disagree and think blanket statements like this are ignorant. Everyone has a different body chemistry and reacts different to these powerful hormones. I personally get itchy nips looking at a bottle of test, you cannot tell me I could run 1gram+ a week and not have issues.
