Anyone using Finasteride/Propecia while on cycle?

I am starting to notice a small amount of hair loss while on my current cycle.

I was wondering if anyone have used Finasteride while on a cycle, and did using it help with the hair loss due to excess testosterone? did the Fina affect the efficiency of the AAS?

If not, what do you guys recommend?

I started finasteride before cycle because I was losing hair. It's helped halt my loss even now that i'm injecting test. So I would say it works, just can't comment on how it blocking DHT conversion would affect your cycle..

I also use nizorol shampoo and emu oil, as well as saw palmetto.

Just lowered libido before adding in the test.. some have some erection problems

Proscar you can legally fill a 3 month script overseas, which in turn you quarter the pills giving you a whole years supply for very little, if you decide to try it :)

I used it twice before on some bulkers that had higher amounts of test in them and it does help. No doubt about it. You will thank yourself by taking it during your cycle if your prone to hair loss. Some do get unwanted sides. Mainly ED but it should be no issue if your running allot of test. At least for me it wasn't

Problem:

I was using it for the first time on my Test/Tren cycle and its more of cutting cycle as I am eating at maintenance and trying to put on lean mass this time and avoid the bloat, fat , ect from previous bulks.. Anyways, the problem is fina can cause "flatness" to the muscle bellies. And it did for me. I was wondering why I looked so flat, and basically looked like shit considering what I was running and my diet. I stopped the fina and BANG within a week I was hard, full, vascular, and looking like you should when your on Tren..

So if you don't care about that, then go for it. If your cutting or doing anything pre-contest, fina is your nightmare..

Theres a few ways to nickle and dime your way around it, but in the end if its comming out, its comming out, and there ain't nothing thats gonna stop it. Your in the gym training like a badass mother****er, so accept the look that goes with it. This lifestyle doesn't have room for the panzies that like throwing gel in thier hair every morning.

8 months ago I had hair loss the first and only time I took prohormones so I got a prescription from a hair doctor for finasteride about. I take 1/4 tab of proscar 6 days a week to lower my DHT levels which cause hairloss. I recently have cycled Deca, Dbol once and have notice no problems at all and still good gains, No ED, still great libido.

I also had libido problem from finasteride. for the last 2 year I just use Nioxin champoo. Its hard to judge if its working or not cuz to really know I would have to stop using it which I dont want

I disagree with your above statement in more ways than one. But suffice to say that for now, if something can be done to keep the hair from falling off while on cycle, and it works, then I am trying it.

Also reading on Fina, apparently only 1% of patients gets hit with ED, so it is weird to see a lot of people who know someone who suffered that side effect.

fina kinda lowers your sex drive but you're still horny cause you're on test and it does help, i had hairloss in the other cycles and then i started using finasteride during a cycle and i used the same compounds as last time and i didnt lose any hair, i actually felt like i regrew a little

use finasteride 1mg/day, nizoral shampoo every second day and rogaine every night before sleep and you will notice that you're not losing hair and maybe even regrowing...and if that doesnt work then the only option you have is a hair transplant cause those are the only things proven to stop hairloss

I used Propecia for 4 months from an underground lab and it worked great in my opinion. I went from a light snowfall of hair to nothing when I shook my head.. I still have full hair but that was a preventative measure.. I have to get on it again cause I dont feel like being bald yet..

I had no negative sides in the sack and still would get after a rockpile if I thought there was a snake in it! So no ED probs here!

IS this a statement you read from Finasteride? If that may be the case they aren't gonna tell you about the other hundred or so patients that had libido problems from it. Not a very good marketing strategy if you ask me. I would suspect that the libido problems are dose dependant also, but I sure as hell would **** with anything that attacks the libido while using or after using gear, cause we all know how gear can directly affect libido after you are off it.

Um.... no... Proscar is 5 mg of finasteride. Same EXACT drug, same side effects. When you split the tabs in 4 your are taking 1.25mg of finasteride. The only reason people get Proscar from their doctor is because most insurance companies will cover the cost of the drug as a prostate drug. But they are assuming your using 5mg a day as that's how much is needed to protect the prosate. It's just a run around way to get it covered. But 1.25mg of Proscar = 1.25mg of finasteride...

If you notice it now, its worse then you think. Get finastride and take 1mg ED for the rest of your life or however long you want to keep your hair.

T-rex1, I only have the hair loss while I am on a cycle. Off cycle I seldom notice any hair falling.

I am hoping shedding will stop after a couple of weeks of no exogenous testosterone.
