what's up boys?
I've been training at gold's in burnaby for a while and I like it but... I wouldn't mind a smaller gym. I wouldn't mind one that's not quite so busy. It's a fantastic gym with a great selection of equipment but I hate waiting between sets. It's damn near impossible to do super sets on two pieces of equipment.
Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of any smaller gyms in Burnaby near hastings and boundary.
thanks

the world's on lougheed is closed now. There's a fitness world, but it would probably like gold's.

Hey bro I know that people are trying to open a new gym right around where the old A&B sound was right down from you. But I heard the city"s being difficult so it could be awhile:(Otherwise the only other places I can think of around there are the rec centre(which would be smaller and slower) on the north side of Willingdon and further down loughheed to fitness2000(lougheed mall). Ya might be better to just grind it out at Gold's and hope for the new gym to open soon. Good luck bro.

theres another gym down by metrotown (sorry its been a few yrs since ive been in burnaby) i believe its on kingsway? fitzone or somethin like that it wasnt bad but i thought that golds was great. I would train there about 2 in the afternoon when i got off school at bcit and it was like a ghost town in there

Don't get me wrong, when gold's is slow it's a great gym, but my schedule works out so I'm there at 5pm. It's always packed.
Thanks for the help boys.
have you been to the BCIT gym?, its not bad

Did you go to BCIT within the last 2 years....the last time I was there they had done some major upgrades/renos to the gym and it didn't look bad. Never worked out in there though cause never bothered getting a student card and I figured it would be a zoo.
