View Full Version : Being scammed?
I've been in this game for a long time, and never had an issues with sources. Recently i made a purchase from a reputable source, sent donation along with tracking number. The donation shows up that its been successfully delievered but the receiptient insists he did not receive it. He now wants me to re-send 50% of the order to compensate himself. Isnt the idea of tracking to prove either end didnt scam ? I just dont feel as if i should be forking over more for something i've already paid for. Any thoughts.

I think thats a risk we have to deal with when ordering online. if you followed all the steps correctly and sent your full name etc. then you did your part as you should have. I wouldn't send any more money. You should post your experience on their thread, which I'm sure they have if they are a sponsored site.

i have had something similar happen recently.. and to be quite honest I dont know how to go around this issue.. its really hard to say but i know in my issue the Post office definitely lost or stole the package, or even worse some kid came and stole it??? i know on my part im taking different measures from now on to secure this from happening again, next time you send, use a signature sticker to assure the package gets delivered into the reps hands...
Unfortunately there is always risks in sending money. What are you going to do? its not like its legal.

Is the source reputable? If he is your are probably not getting scammed, whenever you send anything via Canada post you run the risk of them ****ing it up.

If he hasn't already, ask your source to check with the CPC desk clerc, assuming it went to a PO box. It may have been delivered but just not put in his box or they forgot to put a slip in his box. That happened to me once when my product was delivered, it was actually behind the counter.

this does happen even if it said successful delivery doesn't mean he received it. this has happen to me the rep sent out the pack and i never received it but the tracking said it was successfully delivered

Signature may help deter may a postal worker from stealing it.

Ya..it all helps... I for the most part will walk in and have my item scanned in and stamped as well which also is a deterrent. Just dropping in the mail box..well where's the proof there?
I have seen workers just leave my packs on the counter if there busy,,,I will literally stand there and wait to SHE clues in and puts in the bag or box behind the desk. I don't give to shits if there is a line up and she getting over worked...my facking pack..do your job. I could have literally stole my package or envelope back a few times. Nothing pisses me off more than a new staff who doesn't know there job.

twice it has happened to me where the cp tracking#. Stated that it arrived but it didnt. But stangely enough a week later the package arrived. This is why many people always bitch about cp
WU has a limit... you also have to pay a fee..also more records showing that you sent large amounts of $$$ to ppl

CP does suck. I was waiting for my package and after a week I contacted my source to find out if it had been shipped and he said I should have already gotten it. I went to the post office to finf out WTF and the package had been there for 4 days. The package was sent with a signature but the mailman never left the attempt delivery notice. the dude at the post office was busting my balls about not being able to give me the pack because I didnt have the slip. I eventually talked him into give it to me but what a cluster ****.
*edit* double post because of my stupid internet

If I were you, I'd stop holding my breath at this point. When they start sending fake tracking #s, its pretty much over

The last time I had sent out was via a friend who was also my Src. He was Swamped with his own issues related to work and all, sporatically responding to emails...etc..etc..
Took him 2 months after the funds were confimed to be delivered to send me my package..
It's hard to tell if the ball is rolling... If there's no responce and you don't know them personally.... It's a hard call to make..
I wish you the best bro!

thing is they can give to wrong person, and then says "delivered", just hve to send WITH signature... and even then not 100% but atleast safer... and have a good return addy in case..

Now thats just stupid, if the source was gonna scam you he'd just ignore your emails. 'If' you have a reliable source it'll most likely get taken care off but who knows.
Its always a crapshoot. I've been lucky so far, but I never invest more than I can afford to lose.

I was scammed once (not aas related) The guy kept answering my email and feeding me excuses, even a fake tracking #. he was buying time so he scam as many people as he could before he was exposed. After he had all the money he wanted, he just disappeared and left quite a couple people scratching their heads.

i'd think if i was a source i'd ask for copy of the tracking to make sure you didn't send to wrong addy, then take care of it, cp can be terrible at times.
Just an honest mistake by a good guy, took care of the situation and then some ... good to know there's still some good bro's out there ... keep safe everyone and thanks for the input

im glad you got taken care of... i know most SA reps and from what i know most are classy individuals..
Most scammers wouldn't offer to meet you half way for any lost $$$ (Although to actually DO it is something else!)
One time, only once thankfully, my donation went MIA! Rep took care of me big time (Regular customer) and about SIX weeks later the Bro got my funds! WTF?! :D
PS Many people do not want to sign upon receipt, so sometimes it's not an option...

I was in this situation, where my donation was lost, funny thing though, i never once considered it was my source screwing me around. He has always been extremely prompt with communications, and was generally pissed about a donation getting lost. I have since had succesfull donation and product deliveries and am 100% positive that canadapost has a bunch of thieving cocksuckers working for them!
