We all know that there is a LOT of counterfeited items floating on eBay, including collectibles, cloth items, electronics, etc...but I was not aware that fake razor blades even existed. In fact, according to this one website, over 90% of the blades on eBay are fake!
I bought a big lot of Gillette Fusion blades for what I thought was a bargain price.
Started using them last week, and it seemed to me that they shaved really badly, I cut myself on a couple of occasion, and the blades got dull only after a couple of shaves.
So after some research, it turned out that I had fake blades! There is no serial number on the blades like the real ones, and the lub strip is really badly made.
So I sent a message to the eBay seller with an angry tone, so he refunded me the money on the spot.
To help you guys in spotting the fake ones, here is a link: http://www.fakeblades.com/?page_id=4
So be careful guys, not only do these blades shave badly, become dull in 2 shaves, but they can be quite dangerous too.

good to know, so many scammers atleast you got refunded.

I bought some generic blades for my razor and tossed the pack after the first blade. They were complete crap. You get what you pay for.

Yes RR, but with generic you know you are getting generics.
These sellers claim : "Manufacture fresh genuine Gillette", "Authentic Gillette"...

Counterfeiting is what the chinese do best. I remember being surprised the sandisk memory cards on ebay were 90% fake. With razors you don't get a deal ever. I said **** this and bought a 10pack store brand disposable for $2.50. They work great. Apart from the fact they clog due to the fact they are solid behind the razor (a quick flick will clean it out) they are .25 each vs $2.50 each for mach3+. The newer 5 blade are almost $40 for 8! The cheapies last for well over a week. Warren Buffet and Gillette can go to hell.

Problem for me is I shave 5 days aweek and I have very thick facial hair those disposables dont work for me. I go through a blade a week usually even with fusions. If I dont do that then my face gets wrecked.

Yep I know...just adding my $0.02
Buy an electric, they pay for themselves in a matter of weeks.
Just use the razors for your boys!

Electric is best. I bought a panasonic wet/dry one about 4-5 years ago and it still works very well. It can work to shave your nut sack but you have to be carefull and the consequences are painfull.

I never liked electric razors. Going to get me a couple of packs of the cheapies today, Loblaws has them on sale, .15c each.

I have the Norelco "James Bond" electric shaver. It shaved pretty good on the face, but on the neck, it does a terrible job. I always ended up cleaning with a regular razor after that.

Same. Absolute garbage. Damn cheapo blades will rip your face up good, and you won't save any money in long run imo.

they'll fake anything as long as there's profit in it , just take one look at the product lists of any large chinese wholesaler.
