Welcome gsxr. Glad to have you here. I had to buy the domain name off someone who was greedy. Set me back almost $6k :(

Jeezus bro!! That's a steep price to pay but I have to admit, it's the most perfect logical name for a canadian bb site. If you ever decide to sell it off, give me a shout :cool:

And where did you get it, buydomains.com or an auction? Buydomains tried to rape me on a few domain names and lucky I found a few variations on a play of words and it cost me $8.95 only. The one I wanted was $15k. Too steep for me :( Don't use pool.com. They will bet against you just for you to raise your price. I believe an expired domain costs about $60 to bring back to life. They force you to pay that to "try" to acquire it for you and if they do, they say someone else is in an auction against you and there they start to bleed your wallet. If you give in, you still paid for them to aquire the domain at $60 so they lose nothing and they put the name into the buydomains.com list. Pricks.

thanks for the warm welcome...that is expensive for domains, but i'm sure in the long run it will be well worth it.
