I took delivery of some capsules and noticed that the first couple I was going to take had a slightly different color. On further examination I found that one of the caps was empty. I checked the rest of the bottle and found several others that were empty. My guy made good on them so that is no biggy.

Has anyone else ever noticed this?

No but one of my dbol caps was next to empty, they were supposed to be packed tight according to other users, but these were half empty

lol you took time to open up caps? wow.
well, from i seen, (from the health shore capper) you slide powders and falls in bottom, but i can easily see some get jammed (not fall in), caps are funny that way, i think lots depends on type of flour. if a cap is all same, i'd be in shock. To put you at ease imo i'd say common, If you mean a UG then for sure, labs produce 1000's and 1000's and i dont' think they have time to check each one, if store, then be less often, cause they'd have proper machines, but if it was a UG, i wouldnt' worry, as i bet every cap varies a little and possible some dead ones..lol
Now that i think of it, after playing with this, it definatly can happen, not sure what size your caps are, but these are 00, i like to mix diffrent sup's together, and bet the farm none are exact. Unless you tamp it

if they are using a decent capper then they should be packed tight......i did this legit for a living for several years (compunding) and never had probs with loosely packed caps.....they either have a shitty capper or they are shorting......either way you lose......

Nope. I could tell by the color variation between the filled and unfilled caps. It was slight but noticeable.

ok from what i'm told to be done RIGHT (as Tex said)not one should be empty, then you fill and tamp and fill more and tamp, but you get some guys that are blasting threw them with a card and some get plugged with a possibly thicker flour, see i was talking about these cappers http://www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com/capsule_machines.htm#00 , i see you mean the little ones, so i guess if the cap person does not tamp then can happen.
