Just trying to get a discussion started on what you all think about pros, and the state of their HTPA years after.

Guys like Levrone, Ray, Charles Glass haven't competed in years, do you all think they're on TRT or is it possible for them to be completely off? Is that a sacrifice they made when they decided to become pros?

If any of those pros have any symptoms of Hypogonadism, then im pretty sure they would see their Doc for hormone replacement therapy. Everybody is different. Some pros may luck out with a good HPTA after years. Others may have gotten efd from all the gear. It all depends on their own bodies and how it was treated over the years of bodybuilding.

:laugh

Man that Levrone video. I would have always thought there would be some kind of permanent muscle gain from taking cocktails of slin, test, and GH. This proves me wrong.

What did you expect? The guy has set new goals and wants to trim down for his acting career. It really amazes me when guys rip on a retired athlete. Guess what happens when you stop training and stop eating 8 quality meals a day? I willing to bet that he would look like that if he was on the juice and not training/eating. Getting off the juice has very little with what he looks like now.

i'm not blasting him for leaning up, no one stays the same size, and he was always known for getting smaller in the off-season.....my point is what's the chances he'll actually make a career in film? Has he really thought it through, considering he was at one time one of the best in BBing? I do wish him well, but it seems to me that he could've done more in this biz, not just competing, in an industry where he is well known and still has a strong following.

Well I sure wasen`t ripping him. Just saying I`m surprised he didn`t stay bigger, that`s all. I actually think it was a better choice for him to persue acting, it`s healthier, and he`ll make more money even off low budget movies. All the power to him man! He`s been a top rated bodybuilder and respect him for that and I definetly don`t expect him to look the way he did retired.

I gotta disagree with what you say about him looking like that even if he was on the juice though, a little extreme here, no?

dont agree with the looking rough comment. Ron Partlow met him at the Olympia this year and stated he looked very healthy.
