steroids in supplements???

I don`t get it. Sometimes an article is presented stating that x supplement was tainted with steroids. I`ve heard ahtletes having traces of nandrolone and testosterone then they blaim it on a supplement they were taking. As far as I know nandrolone can only be absorbed through injection, so how can someone test positive from using it from a protein powder say or any other supplement. Same thing with test. What`s the deal here?

I remember Sherk said hed "never heard of nandrolone" when he tested positive - yet hes lifted weights and wreslted his entire life, and was a bodybuilder for a short time -even if he was clean hes obviously heard of Deca ... ok Sean, whatever you say.

If someone pops for winny, or var, or something then maybe the supplement is tainted ... in the early 90s actually happened quite a bit. But when your nandrolone level is 9 times higher than the reference range the old "multivitamin" excuse is quite lame.

Yes, it`s what I thought, these people are playing dumb. Winny and Var are actually a few I was thinking could be in a product. But logicaly speaking how can there be any precision with the dosing? I mean one day the persone could get 10mg of winny then 50mg... I`ve heard sometimes a company will first put out a special batch to get everyone talking positive about the product then they take out the drugs. But juicers won`t really say winny or var has any kick to it, so with uprecise dosing how can the product even if it had been tainted really make a difference? I don`t know maybe I just think too much...

The thing that we have to worry about is statements like that stay in the publics mind. Everyone start's believe it and before you know it there'll be an outcry for more control's and regulation's. Presript for protien and creatine, we must protect our youth....

Simply they are making excuses to why they tested positive no one wants to say yeah I did it!

Weider stuff used to have dianabol in it. I think this was at the time when they were purchasing the product bulk from other suppliers and just putting their name on it.
