View Full Version : Help devising weekly split/routine

Hi everyone,

A reliable guy where I go (former US marine who squats 5 plates) suggested I do dead lifts on Monday or Tuesday and squats on Friday. If I go with this, I am trying to figure out how to fit everything else in and where/when it should go. I am guessing something like a day for chest, a day for back, and a day for arms? I don't know. I feel like I should be doing something else on those dead lift and squat days. What would you guys do?

If I was only going 3 days per week, I'd probably be doing what Baconbits suggested here: http://www.canadabodybuilding.com/forums/showpost.php?p=47024&postcount=3 ... but I go 5 days (Mon-Fri) since that's when my room mate drives in, so I don't know how to rearrange this to work with the 2 extra days.

Monday: Deads with back
Tuesday: Chest
Wednesday: Arms
Thursday: Squats with legs
Friday: Shoulders

...or something like this.

Mon:Chest/Bis
Tues:Quads/Calfs
Wed:Shoulds/Traps
Thurs:Back/Tris
Fri: Deads/Lagging Bodypart

Might find your tris die out with this, but it's something to work with at least
