Curious about insulin alone and what results would be like for lean gains if you were to follow a strick protocol of 0 fat before and after injection.

Since the main role of insulin is to shuttle glycogen (and to a lesser extent amino acids) in soft tissue, you will build some mass, no doubt about it. It also have an anti-catabolic properties, but this role remains minor.
Unfortunately, your body is quite efficient at converting glucose to fatty acids, even if you don't ingest fat per say, and insulin is a catalyst for such conversion. So even if you don't eat fat, you will get some glucose synthesized as tri-glyceride and stored in your lipid reserves...unless your carbohydrates intake is perfectly dosed and timed for your body needs.
So what you can expect on insulin alone, is a moderate weight gain, and depending on protocol and experience, a ratio of that gain will be fat.
What AAS does is that it compliments the anabolic and anti-catabolic properties of Insulin via protein synthesis / nitrogen retention and thus you have a positive synergetic effect on the body's muscular mass. Also if your AAS promotes a minimal fat loss via elevated metabolism you also get less fat stored as a result of exogenous insulin.
So it makes a lot more sens to achieve a great anabolic effect to run slin with AAS then to run slin alone.

Thanks for that explaination. So running deca and sust with slin might be a good combination for pushing past current weight?

Yep, I've tried it while off and if you're clean then the benefits you will get from slin alone will be relatively minimal compared to while on. You really need to be in an anabolic state to get the real benefit.

Yep, but of course diet is critical for the success of weight gain, but I am assuming you already have your diet in check.
What I suggest is you do one of your usual bulking cycle to which you know how your body reacts, and add insulin. That way you can better isolate the effects of the insulin on your body and gage on the efficiency and weight gain distribution you are getting from slin.

I would only ever run slin with AAS.
I think slin with EQ and test would be a great cycle.

I see a lot of guys wanting to sue Slin that really shouldnt be using it. Only way I'd suggest using it if they were a serious competitor trying to break through a plateau or to get into keto faster or to load on. Not the recreational user. Does slin work? Yes, very well. But it's not something to just be playing around with. It could lead to problems if your not careful, it will age you faster, etc, etc. Everybody wants everything so fast nowadays and dont want to wait...they want it all right now. Adding quality size takes time...years. And slin isnt the magic thats going to get you there.
