I am trying to find a good deal to go anywhere warm for a week and it would start next weekend(Oct 25- could leave late friday oct 24th).
I have never done a last minute deal and as I do not have any requirements besides it being warm and 4 stars or better, where should I look as I keep coming up with nothing special in terms of price.
Is the best deal to be gotten by waiting till thursday/friday next week to get the trip?
thanks

These are the three main sites that I use. They all have pretty much the same prices. There are some great last minute deals right now. Just make sure you check the weather before you book/go because it is still considered Hurricane season. I would book up to a week in advance, the prices do not change much if you wait till the day before.

If you want to try Cuba, let me know I have been there many times.
Here is a 5 star AI, adult only, with a golf course for $1000 per person.

anyone ever try these during the holiday season? I'm thinking of trying it out during christmas time? Is it even worth it during highseason?
Christmas is always expensive period, new years too, then spring break. I`m going to cuba the week before christmas for 682 Taxes-in.

The cheapest trip to Cuba right now is Dec.11 to Veradaro. You can get a 2.5 star for $450 all in. As long as all you are going for is sand, sun, and suds you will be fine.

2.5 stars in Cuba.....yikes....I'd watch out for that...maybe I am biased (seeing as I have avoided Cuba so far). Not that I would never go to Cuba, just haven't heard the greatest things yet....although I don't know anyone that has stayed at a 5 star complex there yet.

I have been to 4 star places where the food was crap. You do not go to Cuba for the food. That is rule #1. For that kind of money you can eat out once a day at a better restaurant.
