Computer TV shows??

does anyone know of good sites to watch TV from a PC? or decent movies, we have an old pc and TV in a far room and no cable, so would like to hook up to watch TV on the net.

Thanks, ya like to be able to watch shows and movies, i think i found one to, called movie-watch.net or something, you get to watch new movies etc, and is awsome, just like to have in case lol the family watches the family TV..haha, and nope i'm not the the boss..lol
