Just checking, I used to get humulin r with no need for a script (this was about 10 years ago) and now I want to try humalog. Do you need a script?

also, has anyone ordered through one of the online pharms? if there's no need for a script, that should be cool to, right?

thanks
TC

No script required. I've only ever used log and have no problems with it, but you've got to be very aware of your body and take it slow because it is very easy to go hypo.

I did humalog once. I put on too much BF because I ate too much carb because I was afraid of going hypo. Most I ever ran was 5iu. Probably going to run it again soon, but will stay to 3iu max. I will take it 3x a week for 3 weeks.

Might not though. I wonder how long it takes for the body to completely readjust. The concern is trying to keep muscle cells as anabolic as possible through the higher slin sensitivity. So far I know that both cinammon and fish oils do that.

Get a glucometer, if you're going to do this stuff do it safely.

No script needed. And yes, Humalog is a fast acting insuline (lispro with 2 prolines reversed) so you have to be careful of dosage but most importantly of ingesting enough post injection.

The onset of Humalog is 15 minutes, the peak is after an hour to an hour and a half, and the total duration is usually 4 hours. Of course it will depend on individual morphology as well.

And contrary to popular beliefs, you don't need to ingest an enormous amount of carbs post injection because if you do so, most carbs will go into fat synthesis. So to minimize fatty acids conversion, the trick is to inject exogenous insulin at a time where muscles are most sensitive to insulin, which is usually post intense workouts and to not over-exaggerate on the simple carbs intake.

And if you are starting in all of this, then I would most definitely recommend you buy a glucometer and closely monitor your blood glucose levels to see how your body reacts to slin.

I'm very careful when it comes to the slin, but good to know how different it is than the R
