Well im not going to fully disclose my career. However, my job will put me in a plane for extended periods of time. In order to do so, my employers are doing a physical test. Every so far has been good, but they need a blood test to make sure im good to go. Now im pretty worried for A) what are they looking for in blood to make me air suitable B) How will previous AAS use effect that. Ive done two cycles of test e at 500mg a week and i JUST finished an anavar cycle 60 mg per day. I finished this about 2 weeks ago. IF anyone has insight on making 'airfriendly blood' or even what they might be looking for, please post up or pm. Thanks alot!
get a test done BEFORE you go for your work test, check the levels
if they are off by a lot (the test will give acceptable ranges), then youre kinda effed... they may go back to normal after a certain period of time but that all depends onthe individual

Employment blood tests are generally not for AAS.
I'm in a similar trade, as far as I know, they only check for things that could make you go unconscious or u/s during flight.

Your fine the Anavar should be gone. I doubt they are testing for aas anyways.
AAS testing is quite expensive, I highly doubt they are testing for that.
i think he should be more worried about the effects the var had on his other levels, not that its present in his system....

i dont think you have anything to worry about, they're not testing for AAS.

I don't think you'll have any problems either, if somethings off you can explain it, and always ask for a second opinion.. I can't think of much as far as bloodwork results related to AAS that would warrant them saying you can't fly.. you're in such baddd shape...
I mean, look at you! Lol

i heard that if u donate blood then the resulting blood left in ur body will dilute when new blood gets made by your body, therefore minimizing traces of AAS in the blood stream. Im not sure if this is true or if it will even help, but thats what i would do. good luck bud

No worries about this, they will check all the basics and they will not check for any steroids but even if they did they would have to let you know that they were doing a drug test and unless they suspect your using, it's not going to happen. An aircrew med is just routine. By the way how is your blood pressure? If your BP is messed up then you could fail your medical which would lead to further investigation. As for you enzymes and so on, they would have to be really out of wack for them to do further investigations considering just regular intense training among other things can raise your values. Good luck.

Assuming your platelets and lipids and whatnot are fine youll be in the clear. Chances are theylll just run a basic hematology profile.

Do not donate blood as the last things someone needs is your contaminated blood. I assume it was from a ugl and hence there is always the risk of heavy metals etc.
In terms of your blood test the thing you ahve to work about is not a positive for aas, but rather your health markers which may be imparied- liver enzymes, blood cholesterol etc.
I would blame the results if you fail on a pro-hormone supp that you took and hence you are having side effects associated to methyl oral products

Would it be a good thing to admit that? Why not just say the high cholesterol runs in the family, and you were out drinking with the guys the night before for liver enzymes?

i'm sure they're not testing for aas, more than likely just recreationals and possible flight induced sickness'. I wouldn't worry about it.
lets see....since you will be at altitude for extended periods they will be testing basic hemo....RBC, hemoglobin will be the killer for you.....these are elevated with aas and also increase with time spent at high altitude.....id say donate blood a few weeks prior....just my .02

^ya if they are gonna check RBC it would be extremely high with the var fresh outta your system.. i think catching a cold would help with that wouldnt it? lol
all in all i think they wouldnt be checking for aas as the others have said it is expensive and for everything else there is usually a lot that can just be explained... i think some liv52 for the liver and omega 3 for the lipids would be a good start.. im just throwin out things i'd do
