Who do you guys have winning this fight? From the recent training pics I have seen of Leben I have to say that he finally looks like he dedicating himself to the fight game. He also says he has been sober for a while now. Bisping is definitely the more technical fighter and is more well rounded but hasn't faced top competition (asides from Rashad, which he lost). I don't see Bisping being able to KO Leben and I think if Leben can push the pace he will end up winning by TKO or KO in the 3rd round.

The "crippler" is gonna crush the count. I love whenever Leben wins and gives that look into the camera while showing off his left hand.Cracks me up every time.

I picked Bisping. Not a very entertaining card.

I vote bisping. Leben has an impressive list of people he's gotten beat by though. That counts doesn't it?

Wow.. Bisping looks skinny.

Who gives a ****. Chris the cripple Leben or count chocula, terrible match up, can't stand either one and if there is a God they will knock eachother out and cause major concusions as they hit the ground and never be able to fight again.

This would be a pretty good fight night, which makes it like most of UFC's British cards. I'm pretty happy to get Bisping vs. Leben and Jardine vs. Vera on free TV. They might not be true headline fights, but they are at least intriguing. I can't say for sure who will win either one, both fights will have an effect on who might get title shots down the line, and both have a good chance of ending in spectacular fashion. I wouldn't pay to watch it... but we don't have to, so that's fine.
Also:
Luis Cane is a very good Muay Thai fighter and he's fighting Sokoudjou, who is a phenomenal KO artist with an enormous neck. They will almost surely go toe to toe at some point early in the fight.
Heavyweight Shane Carwin is a well-rounded ground and pounder, and he's facing Neil Wain, a Brit with heavy hands. Does Wain have enough wrestling to avoid being taken down and crushed?
Taylor and Lytle both have big hearts and (figuratively, at least) big balls. Their fight should be awesome, if Lytle keeps to his relatively recent pattern of letting his hands go and throwing caution to the wind. Taylor is a good technical striker, and Lytle has something close to a complete game. If Lytle can get on top of Taylor on the ground, he'll probably finish him.
Out of the undercard fights, I really hope that Akihiro Gono makes the TV broadcast if the main card fights don't go long enough. Gono is well into his 30s now, but he's one of the more entertaining submission guys I've ever seen. He can catch anyone from anywhere. He's awesome. The undercard fight most likely to make air is possibly Etim vs. Stout, which should be yet another stand-up war.
If you like stand-up wars and highlight KOs this card could end up much more entertaining than it looks on paper.
Also, it's already underway, so you may want to avoid MMA websites until you've seen it, if you don't want to find out the results ahead of time. Alternately, if you've got dumb friends you could check out the results, invite them over, then bet heavily on the outcome of the various fights.

6PM Pacific Time on SPIKE. They are running old UFC fights all afternoon leading up to it, as well. I've already hit the gym, I've got my shake all made up, and my wife is baking some fish for later. My kind of lazy Saturday!
Actually the event has already taken place, as its in England. I wont post any results though, but stay away from MMA boards as results are being discussed

The more I watched the fight, the more I wanted leben to actually win. Seemed like he'd put in a lot of work to get into shape, should have spent more time and changing up his game a little bit. Lois Cane looked awesome could do some big things very soon.

When leban stops spending so much time on his hair and uses that time to train he will start winning. How many champs you seen with fancy hair.

lol, i kinda did to, but thought mike is just to skilled, Chris is a slugger. For his size, he seemed fairly ripped, i thought he was in great shape for fight

I wonder if having those cornrows so tight attributed to how bad his face got busted up due to pulling his skin so tight http://sherdog.com/thumbnail_crop.php?image=http://www.cdn.sherdog.com/_images/headers/20081018115525_big_pics.JPG&width_size=570
card might have given the impression of a boring event, but the fights proved otherwise. there were some really exciting matches. and only 1 week until the next one! :) I can't complain.

I think Leben's cornrows were done in tribute to Evan Tanner, I am pretty sure they had trained together before at Team Quest. Same with Joe Rogan's beard, apparently someone on his forum started a thread asking people to grow out their facial hair to pay respects to Tanner and Rogan was one of the people who agreed to do it.
As for the Leben v. Bisping fight... well I was certainly wrong with my prediction but I didn't expect Bisping to back away and counter the whole time. I guess he had to do what he felt was in his best interest to win - it was apparent he didn't have nearly enough power to KO leben, hence Leben giving him free shots at the end of the fight - but I would have liked to see him engage and put on a better fight for the fans.
