I heard that briefly on the radio!! That's terrible, no more formula 1 in Canada at all. I wonder what the reason is.

And to think, I was so close to going last year for the first time!!

Apparently it is off for 2009 but may come back in 2010 if Indy is back in game for teh USGP.

Basically Bernie Eccelstone is not happy being a billionaire, so he is going to take more money from dictators from the middle east or Asia. The GP organizers said Bernie asked for so much money that they would have to quadruple ticket prices to make the event worthwhile.
Look for a lawsuit because the agreement was to last until 2011.

Well, during the last race every pilot complained about the bad shape the track is in. I bet that didn't help, and I don't think anyone wants to put any money to fix it

Bernie will be dead soon. Hopefully.

F1 now wants a standard engine for every team? WTF? Maybe if Bernie didn't take all the TV money for himself and shared the wealth with the teams there would not be this problem.

F1 is a joke that is turning its back on its traditional, dare I say, fans of European decent, to go racing in shit hole dictatorships where BE can extract as much money from governments as possible.
