Used it when I was younger, but not now though as I've heard too many horror stories. I would take it upon rising and after my workout. Seemed to make me bloated, crazy pumps though.

Slin makes everything better. How big do you want to be, what are your goals. Do you truly want to be a beast. There is so much more to it than just insulin to be honest. The cocktails the pro's take is unreal. Give the book building the perfect beast a read, interesting stuff.

Not worth the risk IMO

Dangerous but effective.
There is really so much to slin it could fill volumes.
One guy who is a must read on slin is gavinkane. He is a phd in biochem and a trainer to IFBB pros. he's worked with Chad Nichols and Milos Sarchev....fountain of info.

I'd check him out if you are serious about slin.

Unless you are a serious competitor, I believe that the risks are too great. One mishap and you are in a coma.

I;ve used it many times and different ways. Made the best gains when on it but also was on the lowest dose of AAS for a bulker too which was great. I used to bring 12iu with me when the boys and I would go for all you can eat sushi, I'd hit the can and shoot it as soon as the food arrived, lol, the younger days! I think its good for certain body types, I have a very fast metabolism and do not add bodyfat easily (may change soon as I'm getting up there in age) but for now I brun it off faster than it goes in. So Slin does help me. I dont care for the feeling on it though. Plus its offseason and you need to eat clean when on it...contraindicts the offseason menu, lol. Makes me feel lethargic and very tired.

I agree with JO. I feel odd on it to and now that I'm older I seem to put fat on faster. When younger it didnt bother me as much. The feeling is hard to explain but it sucks. Tired but kinda sore in the arms too....its not pleasant.

Slin is effective but it actually CAN kill you.

He should have ran to the candy isle and downed a couple of Snickers bars and a can of coke.

I remember my first run with slin, I was running Humulin R, 3 times a day. I carried a can of coke and a candy bar with me at all times. Had some in my bag I carried to and from work and had some in my desk at work. Last thing you want to do is go hypo when your on the go.

i did humalog preworkout and got the most insane pumps. Only done it once so far, but planning on running it again soon. preworkout can be risky. If you don't plan on competing, stay away.

Pre workout CAN be nuts. But used right (by competing dudes only) it is one of the best mass methods out there and minimizes fat gain too.

I have used it a few times, the overall results were not startling it did of course make my muscles feel much denser but overall growth was not phenominal. I hated the lethargy, really hard to drag your ass off the couch, but the appetite was insane, I would eat until my stomach could not take anymore and still feel hungry. It is very risky though and one must weigh what they are willing to risk for that extra little assistance.

SLIN is liking playing russian roulette....if you are not at that level, and have not bothered to exhaust all other options why would you go and use it. It is heavy stuff and only for the experienced. That ebing said...it works a amazingly well...tried it out for a month and it was awesome.........

That's the problem these days. Everyone is so scared shitless over Insulin because of horror stories they heard about some mofo who couldn't take the time to educate themselves or listen to the advise of others. I don't recommend it to everyone, but it can be worth a try to some people. I personally love insulin during bulking cycles.

Insulin is awesome. I have used it effectively for YEARS. Here are some rules to follow:

a) Use it during bulking cycles only. Because of the high carb diet one must injest, staying lean is VERY difficult with Insulin.

b) The saying "more is better" does NOT apply to Insulin. More is NOT better. The side effects can be severe, and may even lead to death.

c) Here is a simple rule-of-thumb to follow. Always injest 10g of simple carbs for every 1IU of Insulin you take. For example, if you shoot 10IUs of Insulin, then take in 100g of carbs (minimum) following your shot.

d) For first time users, I suggest using Humalog. Humalog is a very fast acting inslin and it will be in and out of your system faster than any other inslin out there... hence, it is MORE CONTROLABLE. Once you have reached a comfort zone using Insulin, then Humulin-R can be used itstead of Humalog.

e) Eating fat will make you FAT when using Insulin. DO NOT eat fat during your insulin "window". If Humalog lasts only 5 hours in the body, then DO NOT consume fats during that 5-hour window.

These are just some simple rules to follow. I personally LOVE insulin, and I respect it more than any other drug out there. If you don't respect it, prepare to pay the consequences.

If anyone wants to be coached on how to use Insulin properly, or has more questions regarding it and don't want to post them in the general forum, then just PM me... I will be glad to help anyone who wants to be helped. Good luck.

Yep i love insulin on bulkers. Nothing packs weight on like it. I don't bulk often, but the last time i did, i took 10 units humalog 3 x per day, and gained 30 pounds in under a month while off-cycle, i kid you not.

And i was lean still, had a bit of a distended gut from all the food, but i was really veiny and jacked still. Strongest i have ever been. 450 bench, 600 squats.

Off-cycle folks.

That said, you best be careful with the stuff. I remember once doing a shot several years ago after the gym, and got into an argument in the car with my fiancee. I had my shake at the gym, but didn't get anything more. I could feel the hypo coming on, and eventually i had to run into the house, and just started chugging pepsi.

It's a wonder drug, but give it the respect it deserves.

Wow that is some great gains, it just shows that when you make the body use the food it eats to its utmost it grows. 30 pounds though off cycle wow!

I wouldn't recommend insulin unless one competes at a high level.
