Would you guys say a good cycle is
500mg test/week
nolva throughout and for pct.
Shoud I get gains on this?

500mgs is fine but don't use the nolva throughout, keep it on hand so that if you have any problems the nolva is nearby

yes i would agree that a single compound is good for the first cycle. specifically a test either prop, cyp or ent would be good choices to see how ones body will react to it.
agreed most people will not need nolva on just 500mg of test a week, however everyone is different and certain dosages will affect people differently. keep it on hand incase
however, nolva plus another compound like clomid and/or HCG would be good for post cycle.

yup! but for your first time i would do something like eq,primo,deca or var something in that would do the trick for the first time!

Agree whit Mr. madeincanade. Of what I read in Anabolic 2006, a good pct will include those three compond. HCG CLOMID NOLVA.

I do not know any of your stats, diet, exercise program etc.....but...if it is your first cycle this is where your are going to get your largest gains.
500mg/wk divided into 2 shots of 250mg each ( for Test Enth/Test Cyp) is the norm. For a first cycle, one steroid is usually used in case of reactions etc. If anything happens, you know what caused it. You need Nolva on hand in case of gyno. Arimidex may be used to keep bloat down, depending on your goals....
Steroids are not magic and to get 'big' you need to eat. Poor nutrition will hinder any use. Protein 2gm/lb of desired LBW (lean body weight),very important. Then carbs and fats. Don't neglect water intake 2l/d minimum.
Exercise program will also affect how you gain. Stay with compound movements ie squats, deads, bench, rows, shoulders presses etc..
I know for a fact that there are guys on the board that could flesh out the template I've given you, alot.........
Research, and do your homework-it's hard but fun. It's also very rewarding.
Oh, and keep asking questions...(if you don't ask...)

yes i totally agree with Realist. if u want u can add d-bol to it so id suggest say 250-300mg of test a week and 25-30mg of d-bol ed.

250-300mg a week isnt enough test and in my opinion a waste of money. you want to be doing 500mg of test a week at least. You could throw in a little bit of d-bol but its all depending on your goals.

Exactly.
500mg/ew is a good start and IMHO don't see any reason to toss anything else in the mix.
