Tonight my buddy is MIA, thus defeating all chances of TC tonight. Dude broke his leg and I went and got booze for him and this is how he repays me...

I was pissed because he broke his leg last week, which is a decent excuse not to come out, but he was not honest. He told me to go to a party where he would meet me and he was MIA. He claimed the cell was dying but charge it up before Friday night.

Here I was all ready to get him some pity sex too.

It's just annoying because I do tons of stuff for him. He gets low on cash sometimes so I end up buying lunches, but then I go over to his place and he has tons of of empty booze bottles. I did a bunch of program design for him, but he just followed the old one of his that seems to have worked so far :rolleyes: 6'3" 200lbs.

Can't be responsible for this guys behavior and I hear where you are coming from. The one thing I truely despise are those who do not have the balls to be honest. I can respect someone telling me the truth, can't respect dishonesty.

Great point and he is a good guy, but I think more absent minded than anything. He didn't even give a call back today to even say what happened. Really book smart but a bit clueless. Known him since elementary so we go back but, I am sure you guys have buddies that at times are clueless. I get tickets for him and his brother for Corb Lund and he forgets to pay. Same goes for Motorhead. Ditched for Motley Crue.

A good guy friend is hard to come by. I talk him up to all the girls I know and have got him tons of action, and he has returned the favor once.

What does man law say regarding ditching a buddy? I ended up at some lame party where he said he was going to be that was full of douches and bitchy broads. He has tons of weird friends that I put up with, but I am getting sick of hanging out with "indie rock" people.

THis is a pet peeve of mine as well. I could care less if you have changed your mind or something has come up, shit happens. Just have the courtesy to tell me whats up. Nothing quite as aggravating as waiting for someone or trying to get a hold of someone that has had something come up and had to change their plans. Or if they didn't have any intention of doing it in the first place.

I call it getting the Ya Ya's from someone. You coming to the lake this weekend? You wanna go out Friday? Yada yada. Then all of a sudden their cell phone doesn't work and you get that sheepish call the next day with some BS excuse. If you don't wanna do something I could care less but don't **** up my night trying to get a hold of you when I coulda just made other plans if you gave me a heads up. I give people a couple chances with this and then **** em. Its inconciderate as hell.
